This has to be one of the most legendary episodes ever, like, if you'd told me just a few years back, when the dive studios was in their early stages, that there would be an MAX CHANGMIN episode???? It's crazy man, how far they've come!
Really!! I expected artists that are more famous internationally (or in North America) than in Korea like KARD, P1Harmony, Dreamcatcher.
when Johnny's episode was released a few weeks ago I kinda expected that since he's an American too but I also amazed since it means Dive Studios are getting bigger and can invite even more famous artists.
I legit didn't expected THEE Max Changmin this fast though 😮
Max chang min is a peaceful person, his presence only brings good smiles and happiness in heart, forgetting all the bad memories.

Eric you said that most foreign fans wouldn't know him. I'm from Spain and TVXQ was the reason I started to get into kpop back in 2009, and Changmin was my bias. So you can imagine my shock and happiness when I've seen the cover of this video on youtube. Thank you very much for this interview!! 🤩

He's the youngest of 5 yet from the very beginning he's always been having this much more mature ways of thinking and acts. Maybe from his well educated parents background and things like basic principal in life that they educate him, back in his younger years. Him finally married to someone, add a solid base on his life and career. You can see how he becomes even more relax and stable. And he is one of the example if such a legend idol married, they can still be okay to be creative and have a good future on their career. Loyal fans will be there beside them until the end. Their status did not erase the fact that he is pretty much still the charming prince inside their fans heart.
From the baby maknae to legendary kpop star to married man with a kid. Can't believe I've watched Changmin for so long.
While there may be many foreigners that don’t know Changmin, I wonder if Changmin knows how many foreigner fans he does have! I’ve been a fan since 2006! I only got to see you perform live once when you came to USA and I wish I had more opportunities. But it’s so nice to see that you’ve grown up so well and that you’re doing so good. From DBSK maknae to legend! So proud of you Changmin! 💕
I'm a more recent fan, as I only got to know Changmin after watching him MC "Kingdom: Legendary War". His interactions with his Hoobaes was so wholesome, and then I heard his music and became a true fan. Changmin-ah! Please come to the US again!! I'll definitely find a way to come see you perform!!!

It's hard to get opportunities as international fans. I've been a fan since 2005 and have only been able to see TVXQ once in the USA (and it was so expensive and far from where I live in Canada).
TVXQ saved Kpop and it is what it is today because of him and His colleagues. He is known around the world.

Let me first say how incredibly shocked I was to see Changmin as the guest. Like I was so mindblown you don't even know. And Changmin talking about how much he likes Eric and wanted to be on the show. WOW. I never would have expected that. There are so many amazing moments that I can't list them all. I loved how comfortable Changmin was that he was super snarky at times. It feels like we haven't seen him be snarky in some time. Overall, I laughed so much. You need to have Changmin on more often! Oh, you should do a special for TVXQ's 20th anniversary and have Yunho on too. Got to get more international Kpop fans to know the amazingness that is TVXQ!
Omg yes snarky Changmin! I think as he's gotten older, he's toned down that side a little, but we all know it's still there lol. Very good to hear it come out because he was so comfortable here.

They're actually both born on the same year but Eric talks like Changmin is way older cause he's more experienced in the field. The sunbae-hoobae dynamic is interesting to watch.

This hit different for me as an 80s baby we are definitely entering a new time in our lives. Changmin I appreciate you coming it was more epic than I expected. He has so many interesting levels to himself I relate to. The sports things I've been there and it sucks seeing ur team lose but seeing sports live is an amazing feeling. His Kyuhyun comments had me 😂 so hard. I personally really want to see TVXQ I guess Japan is the best place to see our older kpop groups. Please return as a group ! Eric you did an amazing job just being you 💕 I do hope you guys can hang out and do some wine tasting 🍷 I really enjoyed that part as well !

As a very long-time fan of Changmin, thank you so much for having him on the show! It's true, for such a young age, he's already a legend to many. It's great that he came to share his thoughts on various things. Watching his interviews over the years, it's amazing to see and hear how he has grown so much. It has been such a joy for me to grow up with Changmin. He's my age and I love that I've gotten to see him in many stages of his career while I went on to achieve many things in my career, too!

Just added Fever to my playlist last week and after looking up the groups history, I learned that they have been active for a long time. This was an unexpected surprise. The interview was awesome as always. I’m from Ohio in the US and have no idea how I found their music. 20 years and still going strong. I’m a fan, who loves their music. I added Hybrid to my playlist after listening to it.
I can fault SM for a lot of things, but their decision, to let their groups and artists come on Dive Studios, I'll never fault them for that. Whoever is making these calls, I could kiss you on the mouth, you are blessed and I hope you always have a good sleep and that your pillow stays cold on both sides.

Bigeasts always say they love how TVXQ rarely say "I love you (Aishiteru)" to fans. "Aishiteru" is not a natural and common phrase in Japanese and many fans find it insincere when young idols say it so many times. It sounds too "Google-translated" to us. Instead, TVXQ uses the phrase "Daisuki" which is a more natural expression. Changmin has said it to us only a few times in his career, which makes every "daisuki" so special and genuine. TVXQ always take their words seriously. I guess that's why we feel like there is a real bond between the members and us fans.
TVXQ got me into kpop in 2006 and I never left. I'll be a cassie for life. 🥲 This was such a good episode, I laughed so much. Thank you for being a lovely host as always, Eric. 🥰

This was such a wonderful surprise!!! I have been a TVXQ fan (and Changmin bias) since the group's debut in 2003 when I was 14 years old - so this old Cassie is in hog heaven right now!!! 💗💗 TVXQ have been so forgotten and overlooked the past few years and it's just heartbreaking. They are legends and their talent never ceases to amaze - I really hope SM gives them the proper 20th anniversary celebration they deserve.

I can attest that there are many international fans who DO know this absolute legend!! In fact it was Max Changmin that dragged me down the hole of kpop over 10 years ago. So my jaw dropped when I saw this episode! So awesome that he wanted to come chat even though he's not promoting anything at the moment, and so awesome to see an under-promoted legend come on the show! 🩷
Side note: It will never fail to blow my mind that Max was STREET CASTED. Imagine being that SM employee who just accidentally stumbled across some kid playing badminton, and he ends up being one of the most talented and well respected vocalists in the whole industry 🤣

Literally couldn't stop smiling from the beginning to the end. One of the most enjoyable eps. HoMin and ChangKyu dynamics are always so funny, I love it. The INFP vs INFJ segment was hilarious lol. As an INFP, I could relate to Eric so much.

I genuinely enjoyed this so much 🥰 Eric said foreign fans might not know Changmin, but I think there are more of us than he thinks, especially among older kpop fans. I'm Canadian and this is my 18th year with TVXQ 🎈I hope we can keep making memories together for a long time.
To be honest, my early days of being a fan were quite lonely. None of my friends had any interest in listening to kpop, so I could only meet other fans online. I didn't meet another Cassie in real life until 2015!! It was also really hard to get albums and access content internationally. It's amazing how much easier and more accessible it is to be a fan today, compared to back then.
