Thanks! I put in a lot more effort on the video portion for this video so it means a lot! Also upgraded my camera to the Fuji XT5 and I've been loving it
I have both a 503CX and 553ELX with several backs and lenses. I love the system and the square format. I have never had a problem with justifying the costs with these cameras. That said I have never been able to justify the cost of any of the Leica M series cameras and lenses. Not sure but I just choke when I see the dollars involved. You said it was a shutter problem on the 503CX, was wasn't a lens shutter issue but the barn door curtain in the body, right?
The Hasselblad V series is such a great system! I have a 645 back that I have yet to try shooting but I love all the options. I won’t lie, I probably would not have the Leica if I didn’t earn any money from buying/selling cameras and flipping items on Marketplace. I paid for my Leica solely from doing that so I don’t feel bad spending extra money on that. As far as the shutter issue goes, I thought it was an issue with the barn doors on the body itself. After chatting with the repair tech, he said the body had no issues and the problem was with a broken component on the lens shutter. He didn’t say what the part was but I’m happy it works now!
"saw that Hasselblad 503cx, and you just had to have it..." Muahahahahaha hahahahahahaha! Me too, but I got mine for much more, from Japan. Plus that import theft (erm, I meant tax/duty) was downright criminal. Anyways, I gave into the allure and finally got mine.
@@camm_eng I only started photography in the second year of the pestilence, so I am new, but I intend to take it with me to Hokkaido later this year, and I will enjoy it.

mate, hello it' me again for the 3rd comment.... this is shot beautifully! I love this
My biggest supporter ❤️ more videos are on the way!
The Hassie is a beautiful piece of engineering, but honestly the video footage looks way better, and doesn't cost $5 per shot 😂
Haha fair. I appreciate the compliment! I will say self developing and scanning saves a significant amount and the realistic cost is much lower!
I'm here for the PLG's!
