The intensity, when hearing it live, is almost too much to bear but you know to savor every second. Adam has stated that he sometimes feels dizzy at the end, which I can believe. It's a vocal and instrumental masterpiece, and a wonder that Queen recorded it when Freddie was so ill. Adam's vocals are otherworldly.
The fact that Freddie was able to record this song when he was so sick is what will always make it one of my favourite Queen songs. The life that Adam gives it onstage more than makes up for the fact that Freddie never had the chance to sing it live. The power and emotion Adam puts into it is heartstopping.
