Season finale: A cutscene of Eramis, guardian, mithrax, Eido, and spider watching the Fast & Furious movie franchise to teach Eramis the meaning of family
I was so happy to see my boy Drifter get a spotlight with this season. His backstory, attitude, and overall general character is intriguing, he's entertaining, and believe it or not, he's got a deep backstory. Other than Cayde (RIP), he's been my favorite character since he first showed his face. (I'm also one of those lunatics who loves Gambit.) He's definitely entertaining, and deserve more screentime in my opinion.
@Aten Industries The absolute irony of that statement you made, (Which I agree with 100%), is that in the eyes of basically everyone else, Drifter is the one person they don't trust. What people fail to realize is that by being loyal only to himself, thus being loyal to his source of "wealth" ie Dark Motes, he's also going to make decisions to protect his source of these motes. That being Guardians. He needs them to further his plans, therefore he's going to make moves, make suggestions, and act in a way that will protect the vast majority of Guardians. By being selfish, and seemingly only in it for himself, he's actually one of the few people who will look past all the bullshit and focus on keeping things as copacetic as can be. He may have a checkered past, but currently, he's in a good spot, he's comfortable with things and he doesn't want that to go away.
You really see how Miisraak’s character thinks throughout different bits of lore. From his time of capture by Sjur Eido to raising a daughter and now working with guardians. His lore tab in the current season armor is the summation of his current belief and mindset. Quite fun to connect these dots.
I assume than current lore is alterng previous - Misraaks was captured by Sjur Eido as vandal, at a young age. He hasn't fully immerse to the fallen live and therefore could take the path that Sjur shows him. Now it's established that Misraaks was a ruthles pirate. It's possibly that he was a pirat before Sjur Eido (because it will be stupid if, raised by Sjur, he still indulge in a pirate life). But to be changeable enough Misraaks should be yound enough, so he couldn't accomplish a pirte position and reputation what current lore is imputes to him.
@@aishaAutumn the thing is, he WAS a ruthless pirate after meeting Sjur. Those encounters did not change him completely- it was when we saved him on Titan when it really started to have an effect on his person.
@@gektoast4968 I don't think that it's logical behavior - after years of upbringing he doesn't change, but after single act of kindness - boom - new person. Especially consider the fact that, according to lore, Mizraaks adopts Eido when he still was with Sjor. I'm saying it not to disagree with you or order of the events - I'm simple emphasize the fact that Mizraaks is now like two completely different persons - one that we knew before this seasons, the other - whose story we unrewelling now. They are both interesting characters, but they are not the same.
Zavala: Guardian, we require assistance in forming an alliance with the Cabal. Ikora: Guardian, we require assistance in hunting down Savathun. Crow: Guardian, I require assistance in assisting myself to be a better assistant. Eris: Guardian, we require assistance in dealing with spooky moon ghosts and also Calus. Drifter: Hey, brother, wanna do some crimes?
One tiny detail i love is during the beginning phase when your fighting on deck and firing cannons between the different phases you can hear a bos'n whistle being used which are still used today in modern navys to relay orders with each order having a different tune
The best part is that the Eliksni have 4 arms, just like General Grievous. In other words, A Human and Eliksni could most definitely reenact that scene for the lols. In this essay, I will
I read these lore tabs last night and Drifter’s always seemed especially poignant to me. The last line “we’d still consider ourselves to be the heroes, wouldn’t we?” especially so
Since his introduction, he's always pushed the guardian/player to question the black and white cookie cutter assumptions about who the heroes and villains are
I think this has to be the first time that it's really caught up to me that the Eliksni outside the House of Light don't have to be our enemies. I'm actually uncomfortable with slaughtering so many Fallen in this season. It's a godawful waste of Eliksni lives that cannot be afforded, and Eramis has thrown them at us knowing so many will die, even after experiencing the folly of her actions on Europa.
@@Mark___Zuckerberg AYE! This season is the playground of Hunters, the treasure seekers of the Guardians and thrill chasers. And what are pirates if not thrill seekers and Hunters of the seas? Time for the troublemakers to do what they do best: plunder everything in sight and kickass! We need stylish and savvy Hunters with charisma, finesse, and the brutality of a the true sea dogs of old! Never let the bookworms steer the vessel.
The worst part is that with the forces of Darkness entrenched in our system, every Eliksni we kill will probably end up becoming a Scorn, thus reinforcing the Witness’ forces.
I am so glad we're back with the Eliksni. And a Space Pirate adventure among all things. And the best thing is you're using the fucking hand cannon I'm trying to roll. The moron I was scrapped the old one I had.
@@johngancarcik5682 The Eliksni are exactly like humanity, just one step further. The Drifter has the right of it, judging their whole race for their aggression would be hypocritical.
I don't know if it's obvious, but I'm pretty sure the atlas Mithrax gave us was not from spider's "antiques" as he said, but from Mithrax himself... I'm imagining Mithrax participated in pirate crews back in the day, and if so imagine Eido's reaction when she finds out. I could be wrong, but just an idea I had
There is for sure a darker side of Misraaks we don't fully know. I mean, for god's sake he was called "Mithrax, the Forsaken" back in base game. He must have been some kind of killer back in the day
@@ClearlyInPeril The lore tab for the Phantasmal Shell from last season sees Misraaks haunted by nightmares. There's a past he hasn't faced that he will have to if he's gonna make it out of this. I mean that in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Eido is studying the relics we recover from the pirate Lords. This first one seems to have dark properties. Trouble is brewin' on these seas, mates.
I mean, his reaction to the news alone got me thinking that this was a deeper worry to him than just "Aw nuts a rival Kell/House is posing a threat to me and mine". It would hardly be surprising- given the environment he was born into and raised in- that he didn't start out as the patient and kind figure he is now. And whatever that past is, Spider seems to know about it, laughing and calling Misraaks a "Charlatan" and the comment of how he had built a house of cards. I just pray that House doesn't fall down around him, I'm quite a fan of Splicer Dad. I'm intrigued on where this season will take him
@@sidereon9793 Oh yeah, I only brought up the tab from last season because it was likely hinting at what he was like before we knew him. Then we get the scene in the bar where, like you said, we get that connection. I think Eramis is gonna try to get to Eido. Shake up House of Light to wrest them to her cause. BUT, I predict Eido is gonna come through in a big way that drives some character growth for Misraaks. At least, that's the hopeful prediction.
My one question that keeps bouncing around in my head this whole season: Where the hell is Variks through all of this?? He was a key character in beyond light and helped us bring eramis down, and he helped missraaks start up his new house. It's strange to me that hes not present for this. Though to be fair it's still only the first week of the season.
well he's kinda in charge of Europa for now, after which he's going to presumably be turned over to the reef, to answer for his crimes. Even if he's stuck there indefinitely, the reef would definitely not take it well if they found out we had Spider and Variks and we're just hanging out, doing Pirate stuff😅 all you gotta do is add crow to the mix and you might just cause a full on diplomatic conflict with the awoken 😛
That's typical of Bungie they hyped up Exo Stranger as if she was gonna play a huge role in Beyond Light. Yet, after the campaign she was tossed aside and didn't even get featured in one of the Beyond Light seasons
@@aljazslemc9569 Mara knows of us having Crow, though. She knows he has his memories back as well. I just wonder if she knows we helped him deal with his trauma last season...
I would say he is just managing the goings on on Europa. I just played the beyond light campaign and Zavala did say that the awoken and the vanguard pardoned him and he was given the role of an operative on Europa, communicating and giving us info as it happens. This season I would say he is busy with Europa things while spider drifter and the others are helping us deal with eremis
I'm loving that we are basically running a crew with Drifter, it's just a shame we don't SEE him more in the activities... like running the smash and grab with us.
I'm just excited to see Spider again. I first started playing D2 when Forsaken came out and I grew attached to him, so seeing him again after I just started playing again feels like seeing an old friend again.
I think there’s gonna be a plot twist that Mithrax used to be one of the most feared of the ketch killers. Spider hinted at it in his opening dialogue with the “house of cards” line and mithrax was not too keen on digging further into the issue
That does sound interesting, though I doubt it. As far as I can tell, Mithrax was originally a Vandal in the House of Wolves, then later a Captain in the House of Dusk. Not to mention, he's much shorter than the other Kells we've seen because he hasn't been hoarding his House's Ether supply, something which would require a conscience that no pirate lord could afford. (Unless he shrank after deciding to be a better person after those days)
Big brain prediction time: Seasonal story ends with Mithrax being killed by Eramis, during their sword fight cutscene, and we have to step in an avenge him. We succeed, but she gets away in the process, and we take him back to the City to bury him in the Eliksni Quarter, surrounded by his House, and an unpaired Ghost comes in and resurrects him. This could potentially complete the House of Rain prophecy of the Kell of Kells: We’ve had Hive Guardians, so an Eliksni Guardian isn’t out of the question, ESPECIALLY with the Seasonal Ghost Shell describing Spider holding a Ghost with “Eliksni styling”. Mithrax could be the Kell to “unify and heal” the Eliksni Houses of Light and Salvation and “Make them whole”, as he could be an emissary of their Great Machine, as it was “Moved by might” (Or in this case, his sacrifice), and they assist humanity in reclaiming the Light against the Witness; “What Whirlwind whisked away will be rewrought”. … or I could be 100% wrong, but fun to think about.
This is actually really interesting, I like the theory! It could be cool to have the prophecy of the kell of Kells be about the first eliksni guardian, making mithrax the strongest fallen, and most obvious candidate for the kell of kells.
@@Cynder2251 I mean, I don't like the idea of either of them dying, I love Misraaks's devotion and Eido's curiosity, it would be a shame to have them loose their current personalities, but if it ends up like that, I hope it's not Eido, she's a scribe, she takes notes and documents everything, and she's the closest to Misraaks, so she would be perfect to tell him everything about his past life if he ends up ressurected. Although, the same could be said if it's Eido who dies and gets rezzed, Misraaks would tell her everything, maybe being an even better teacher than Eido would be to him if it happens the other way around.
Im still thinking to this day for if ana bray succeeds to transport rasputin into a exo body, he makes siva stable again to prepare the city defences and then mithrax shall rebuild the siva plicers up as maybe a elite team to maybe invade the pyramids in some way of form and for where every scattered house like remaining houses of wolfs or kings join in and unite as a big ole house, heck they can probably use siva to rebuild the destroyed mek from scourge of the past in the eliksni quarter (for the ones that will point out that siva is wiped out like the forges on the plaquelands, you are correct but there are still caches of siva on nessus, and who knows if clovis bray got some more worked upon somewhere on europa)
This video reminded me of something ive been thinking about for a while (especially drifters comments). While obviously Mithrax has a really good point and is following a much happier path, is it a bit off to say that he is just default correct? If characters like Eramis witnessed the whirlwind and then had to move forward from it both on an individual level and as a leader there is going to be alot of trauma and pain forged into the process of becoming the fallen. In real world terms, how similar is telling someone who has been through trauma that they should just get over it and choose a better path now because they can to what we are expecting the fallen to do? From that, issues of generational trauma must also be at play with the fallen and Eliksni who have been born since the events of the Whirlwind which could even further complicate that question. Im not saying that Mithrax isnt right or that his path is not the best, but in the back of my head i cant help but wonder if our approach to characters like Eramis is a bit presentist. All in all I kind of find myself agreeing with the drifter in his description of Eramis and the fallen in general. Edit: Just to be clear much like the drifter I think that Eramis is a threat that must be dealth with. In line with Saladins point empathy for Eramis and the fallen can not come at the cost of her victims (both from humanity and the Eliksni). However, I just find the conversation around her decisions interesting and worth thinking about.
She might even be to blinded by her rage to even realize this, she sounds like she doesn't even want to work with the Witness from the opening cutscene of the season. But maybe that's what the Witness wants. She starts looting for something big and dangerous and using all that chaos to distract us from the more bigger threat that is to come or something like that.
I really do like the more "fun" season just after having a very heavy season. But it also feels like the fun before the storm, since Lightfall is next.
This is why the Fallen are my favorite factions. Their history, houses, leaders, and everything is just SO GOOD! The Cabal and Hive are so good too, though maybe Hive is a slight advantage due to Witch Queen and Taken King. Meanwhile, the Vex....... they're just there
I just realised how perfect this season's setup is to lead into Lightfall. Pirates that have sailed the stars and probably know Sol better than we do (expcept maybe during the Golden Age) would be the perfect catlysts to lead us straight to something hidden and removed from our reach while still lying right at the edge of the system all this time. Of course those who have traversed every corner of Sol would know of a threat that seems to be acting from the shadows around a certain tiny blue spec that isn't where the Traveler resides.
I absolutely love this theme! This is gonna be my favorite season without a doubt! The ship designs remind me of the old movie Treasure Planet. I get to really tap into my pirate abilities and kick some ass, take treasure, follow maps, and sink ships! This is gonna be amazing! I love how the more "seedy/criminal" element, especially Drifter cause he is a badass, in the Tower are going a Pirating. I bet if Cayde was still alive he would absolutely join us and go a plundering with us. I dont want to move on from this season. This season must stay forever. We dont need Lightfall. We have Pirates now!
"we are only as strong as those we kill" -Eramis "existence is the struggle to exist" -Oryx interesting philosophical parallel between the servants of Darkness
I can't wait to hear more about Mithrax he (and Eido) are the example of how a newer generation doesn't have to hold on to the previous worldview and can change hopefully for the better. I get the feeling his mother was a feather Ketchkiller and he must have had a very tumultuous past by her side, the dialog this season seems to really affirm that. Sounds like this season is his turn to dust off some skeletons in the closet.
This season makes since it was pretty dark last season so this season is all about excitement and fun adventure because after this it going to get progressively darker next season will be in preparation for lightfall and then straight into lightfall. @@garrettviewegh677 There's also the fact of Osiris' awakening, since Savathun's consciousness has sort of merged with his own, I'm certain that the tricks he's inherited from the Witch Queen bouncing around in his noggin will be key to understanding Strand.
This is why this season is my all time favorite to date. I love the Fallen because of how much history they show you the moment you see them. They worked both smarter AND harder to get this far, taking whatever they can and using it to their advantage the best they can. And I am so glad that we now have an entire season dedicated to that.
Its good to see bungie adding more depth to my favourite faction its also good to see some similarities between guardians and the fallen just like we had the warlords and rogue light bearers the fallen had the old crews arrogant and individualistic that were only out for power and personal gain
One thing I have wondered is that in the trailer for the season, we see Eramis and Misraaks dueling, and I wondered if there would be a connection between the old crews and Misraaks.
Well we read in season of the Splicer that Misraaks has some blood on his hands and buried skeletons, combined that with we seen so far this week I too suspect we will soon learn he has left behind quite a bloodthirsty, cruel pirate life behind.
Can we get a second to appreciate the cool detail that when jumping from ship to ship there's no sound? Which implies that the ships have some kind of artificial atmosphere like in Treasure Planet
@@MrHaro654 TBH that’s pretty much how I make the distinction between the fallen and non-fallen eliksni - the ones in my sights are fallen, while the ones standing beside or behind me are just eliksni.
I feel like Eido's gonna get a bit of a character arc this season, especially when either Spider or Eramis flat out asked 'what aren't you telling your daughter about yourself?' to Misaraaks. Potentially tied in with the idea that the Eliksni refuge is probably gonna get raided by resentful humans at some point this season. What do I know though I only joined round Risen so ehhhhh
I love this fallen houses and crews lore, it’s not as deep as rulk or darkness lore but it’s still so fascinating and interesting, big ups to bungie for always delivering compelling stories
This season is probably gonna give us some insight on how Misraak when he was young, was basically Blackbeard. Also one of the new lore tab for this season is from the perspective of Misraak’s mother during the days of the long drift from Riis to Earth.
It sounds like some Eliksni stayed on Riis to continue fighting while the ones that we know left and search for a new home. So my question is did any go to other star systems or did all the ones that left simply head for Sol?
I think that The Whirlwind f***ed Riis up so bad it was practically uninhabitable, so leaving Riis to chase the Traveler was probably the only real option.
Reading spider talk about survival as a fallen made me think on beyond light, that miisraks is going to have a hard time getting the houses to abandon their cutthroat survival techniques, because one its all they've known, and most importantly they're still traumatised and distrustful to show weakness or theyll be killed or just die
two things: 1. I think that as fallen joined us in city, they became more civilized, more peaceful, and they started to be able called Eliksni. Its sth like monkey - human relation. 2. It's weird how Eido were sceptical about drifter in season of the splicer, and how she didn't liked how guardians use they light in gambit, and now she's completly fine working with him. But whole season is really great Edit: we have out "House". Its called Home.
I think its easy to interpret Eido as more just, coming around to seeing Guardians work. She probably hadn't seen many in a fight, combined with her reverence for the Light, it was probably uncomfortable to see the very thing you hold so dearly weaponized so efficiently. But, I'm sure its just that she's gotten used to it. And seeing how nice Guardians can be, particularly Saint-14, maybe a lot easier to see Guardians as friends. Even someone like Drifter.
The Fallen didn’t return to being civilized because of us. You’re giving us too much credit, and giving them way too little. Amongst the Fallen’s ranks, there were those who never abandoned the old views, never stopped worshipping the Traveler (Great Machine). Misraaks found the Light later in his life, but as soon as he opened the doors of his House, Eliksni came running in droves. That means they already had a more peaceful, civilized mentality without any City influence. Sure, it’s easy to be civilized now that they live in the Last City, but the idea that _we_ gave them the concept of civilization is just wrong.
@@Anonymous-wk1jt I dont mean they weren't civilized, i mean they couldn't express that bcs of guardians, cabal, hive and vex all around. We didn't give them civilization, we give them opportunity to express it more, as they don't need to worry about their lives anymore
I love this pirate theme! It is refreshing and neat looking! Glad my friend gifted me it to play with together! I just wish I had the mods and stuff to use the good builds.
story prediction! The traveler leaves, we give chase beyond the system. Maybe to reclaim it, protect…or kill it. In a penultimate battle, bungie pulls a Halo 3 and the Vex sides with us to take down a greater threat in the Witness
Good lord I never thought about how Arhthrys would think of what Eramis has become. Perhaps Eramis is just too far gone now, and she intentionally tries to forget about Arthrys and what she had so that guilt doesn't overcome her, but if she ever does have that realisation, then damn, she's gonna collapse
Dang. I am still getting more knowledge about Destiny's Story from your videos than from the game itself... Which is awesome because of how great your videos are... Yet sad at the same time for this same reason. Anyways keep up the great work Byf 😊😊😊 👍👍👍
One thing I really hope for is an event where instead of going into a raid, the house of light is raided and you have to use the raid mechanics to defend the eliksni and misraaks.
I'm digging the idea of a full scale pirate raid, fighting from Ketch to Ketch on the way to Eramis' flagship, fighting various Crew Kells along the way.
Eramis: "You are without doubt the worst pirate I have ever heard of." Me, who has just blundered my way through the activity until it's completed: "But you have heard of me."
The eliksni. A race that is bound on the pathway if piracy and looting. How fitting. They'd be pretty good guardians. Hoping that at the end of the light and dark saga, we can finally get eliksni, krill and cabal guardians. Not vex though. Gotta get them allied somehow. Like, exiles or disillusioned.
Whoever is doing bungies new cosmetics needs a raise omg last seasons armor was great this year's just a great like omg I'm so happy to have good looking armors in destiny again
The fact we have to deal with an adversary with a "zero-sum-game" mindset is reflective of our morals. If we just say "lay down your weapons!", or if we pound them into fine dust, we are playing a zero-sum game - or worse, being hypocritical ourselves. If the Eliksni are to be reborn, if a zero-sum game is to be avoided, we must create a peace, and share what we have. After all, as the Belters say: "the more you share, the more your bowl will be plentiful".
Beltalowda were plenty fond of making ultimatums, too. Not always necessary ones, either. It took people like Michio Pa (Novels) or Ashford and Drummer (Show) to understand that the cycle of violence was not going to work, and it would destroy their people in the long run. That way of life was doomed the moment new opportunities presented themselves, Marco Inaros was just an incredibly violent death throe for it. Now that House Light and the Eliksni have been accepted as close allies, even friends, by the Last City, the old zero-sum game approach's days are numbered. Most people are violent because they _have_ to be. Not nearly so many are violent because they _want_ to be. I'm sure Eramis represents a minority viewpoint. She will kill and scheme until either her enemies are dead, or she is. She isn't objective anymore. Hopefully, she's stopped before she drops an asteroid on the Last City, aye?
Drifter and Jack Sparrow are the same. Absolutely perfect cast of NPCs this season Spider "you're the worst pirate I've ever heard of" Drifter "but you HAVE heard of me
I just want to understand Mithrax's retcon, because now it seems he was some kind of space pirate before being taken by Sjur Eido, wich is strange since he was taken when he was a Dreg. Seems like Bungie tried to make Mithrax take the role of Akileuks to cut expanses on new model and voice actor, I don't know...
Possible, but in lore entries from Season of the Splicer, Misraaks also admitted to Shaxx that he'd just airlocked innocent people during a boarding action when he was younger. He did it not out of any particularly pressing need to be fast or deal with a lack of supplies, but just because it was inconvenient for him to deal with them. He's trying to do right by everyone now, but like most of the characters tied to the House of Light story arc, he is not innocent. Season of the Splicer was about burying the hatchet, not recognizing the innocent, although it came up sometimes during that season. Forgiveness, reconciliation, and mutual progress, in that order. But forgiveness requires wrongdoing in the first place.
I wonder how sad it must’ve been for the Fallen to arrive at Earth around the collapse; to drift for centuries tracking their god only to find it having just left another civilization on death’s door
Remember how Byf said we may be going BSG? Now we are preparing for and gaining experience in ship to ship void warfare! Now we will have crews and people who are used to this kind of fighting and a ship that is battle scared and tested. If we do go BSG we will be prepared and I am absolutely ecstatic for it! Actually now that I think on it, we arent going BSG. We are going Firefly!
(THE VEX) The Sol Divisive worshiped the Darkness and returned to Darkness in Shadowkeep. (THE FALLEN) Then House Salvation in Beyond Light. (THE HIVE) Then the Lucent Brood stole the LIGHT in Witch Queen. (THE CABAL) And now Lightfall we have the Shadow Legion. Interesting to think about. I wonder what the Final Shape will be about.. and who the enemy will be. (I assume, that itll be a culmination of enemies).
Is it just me or did they add new voice lines in Crucible, Strikes, and Gambit this season? I've heard one or two over the past two days that I've never heard before.
@@aldousboal4920 Hard to recall most, but one was in the Lake of Shadows strike, near the beginning. Another was at the start of most Mayhem matches, and is Shaxx saying that his favorite gun is flaming hammers. I wish I could remember more.
Now that we have the darkness the Traveler would never leave. Without the light we would all be corrupted by the millions and hunt the Traveler with great numbers and great force in the name of the Darkness. It's almost like handing your robber a loaded gun.
Generally I use Eliksni to refer to those who are named and/or allied with us out of respect, and Fallen to refer to those who are not. Examples. Eramis is an Eliksni, but those in her house are Fallen. Mithrax is an Eliksni, just as his house are.
Funny how only Eramis and Spider talk in a more human way, without that usual cut of words that Eliksni do. Maybe because Spider is a merchant above all else, but what about Eramis? Maybe because she has good bargaining and then it grants her some eloquence?
If there was ever a what if series for destiny I personally would like to see what would have happened if the fallen had arrived in sol during the peak of the Golden age, wonder how things would've turned out then

Finally the season that implements the players innate nature as a loot gremlin
I read these lore tabs last night and Drifter’s always seemed especially poignant to me. The last line “we’d still consider ourselves to be the heroes, wouldn’t we?” especially so
To quote a handsome jackass: "Everyone thinks their the hero of their own damn story."
Since his introduction, he's always pushed the guardian/player to question the black and white cookie cutter assumptions about who the heroes and villains are

Spider will probably be the end of us
That's typical of Bungie they hyped up Exo Stranger as if she was gonna play a huge role in Beyond Light.
You brought Destiny 2 to life for me since I've started playing a year or so ago. Love your videos!
@@ShawndaPrawnI have a feeling that current lore is altering previous, there is too much hints to the Mithrax beeing the fearsome pirate captain.
Big brain prediction time:
Seasonal story ends with Mithrax being killed by Eramis, during their sword fight cutscene, and we have to step in an avenge him.
Counterpoint, it could be his daughter that dies and ends up resurrected
@@Cynder2251 I wish this wasn't likely, but it is, especially considering she's on the cover art.
Agree! I think that one of the Mithrax phrases during the ketch crash "It's not because of the Whirlwind" Is some kind of... hypocritical.
Missed opportunity we didn't get a helm upgrade where we just turn the Helm into our own ketch and fought with it.
Listening to this, all I hear is the pirates and Eramis turning fully toward the sword logic.
And with that I believe Eramis is lost to the witness.

This season is probably gonna give us some insight on how Misraak when he was young, was basically Blackbeard. Also one of the new lore tab for this season is from the perspective of Misraak’s mother during the days of the long drift from Riis to Earth.
All I wanted was a drifter-centric season and I've now been given it, very happy
Eramis wife, Athrys, was sent to the other system along with their children
@@JordanSmith-yi3ji That might be, but i have a feeling we'll see Riis as a destination post Final Shape
Reading spider talk about survival as a fallen made me think on beyond light, that miisraks is going to have a hard time getting the houses to abandon their cutthroat survival techniques, because one its all they've known, and most importantly they're still traumatised and distrustful to show weakness or theyll be killed or just die
two things:
But whole season is really great
Edit: we have out "House".

One thing I really hope for is an event where instead of going into a raid, the house of light is raided and you have to use the raid mechanics to defend the eliksni and misraaks.

Misraax-Kell is basically the Arbiter of the Destiny Universe. Try and change my mind.

Is it just me or did they add new voice lines in Crucible, Strikes, and Gambit this season? I've heard one or two over the past two days that I've never heard before.
I haven't heard anything but tell me what you heard
@@aldousboal4920 Hard to recall most, but one was in the Lake of Shadows strike, near the beginning. Another was at the start of most Mayhem matches, and is Shaxx saying that his favorite gun is flaming hammers. I wish I could remember more.
If stealing a Ketch and becoming a space pirate had been an option this whole time I would have been gone in a heartbeat
Now that we have the darkness the Traveler would never leave. Without the light we would all be corrupted by the millions and hunt the Traveler with great numbers and great force in the name of the Darkness. It's almost like handing your robber a loaded gun.
I've been waited for Treasure Planet games for years.
I'm not going to lie. I still need a surf hoverboard but this is ok too.
If there was ever a what if series for destiny I personally would like to see what would have happened if the fallen had arrived in sol during the peak of the Golden age, wonder how things would've turned out then
I wonder, if Skolas and Taniks were "Ketchkillers" and were summarily "taken out" by Guardians as a result of their hubris.
Eido is cute and bubbly and if anything, ANYTHING, happens to her...
TITAN SMASH
Having recently finished the Three-Body Problem sounds exactly like the Battle of Darkness in the Dark Forest..
