thank you for showing a clear, precise tour of the guts of this notebook. I was trying to change the keyboard as it typed poorly. Had to removed everything, only to find the keyboard had plastic rivets to lock it in. Had to grind away each of those tabs, replaced with new keyboard membrane, and using hot glue to hold it back. Your video shows me where some of the small parts go (eg the metal bracket holding down the wifi card). The CPU/fan was separated so I guess I better reapply thermal paste. After power on, it showed the date/time was wrong (removed the CMOS battery). The worst part was somehow it activated the bitlocker even though it was only Windows 10 home, and wouldn't have activate bitlocker in the first place. I may have to get a new SSD and reinstall Windows 10.
Got to say much better than someone else's video where it showed everything in high speed, without pointing out the delicate parts, loud background music and no narration. The opposite of what you do.

Microsoft is dumb and auto activates bitlocker. They give you a website to log into your Microsoft account. The bitlocker code is there. Glad the video helped. Yeah, I don't know why they add music and stuff on their videos. @@ItsBinhRepaired Thanks! Subscribed. Would the CPU fan be on only selectively? I noted that it is not always on and worry about overheat. Could I have knocked off some sensors?

@@Woodland26 it depends. Some models wait until a certain temperature.

Hey great video! I have a similar model but thankfully only 1 screw was needed to change the port and did not require lifiting the screen.
HOWEVER I NEED HELP. I replaced the part, and used both a OEM and 3rd party charger but will not charge. When I plug it in the light comes on the computer showing that the computer sees a charger has been plugged in. But as usual the light then turns off and shows it is not charging. The laptop still turns on and but can't get the laptop to charge. I recently changed the battery about 6 months ago with a 3rd party and has been working since and like normal. I checked and all of the cables are snugly fit in their slots. I've also cleaned it and replaced the thermal paste. Any ideas?

Check the bios battery information. Could be a bad battery or a motherboard issue
