Thanks for such an informal video on the Tiny TV 2! I was wondering what was all inside it and you explained everything so well. Never even know about the PCB making site either. You rock!
Those Alps rotary encoders are crazy. 5mm and still a 100,000 cycles lifespan. They added quite a lot to the build cost apparently, but man... worth it.
Thanks for the info on the video format. Do you know how to convert videos to those specs using Premiere Pro? The converter app provided by Tiny isn't good right now. I talked to a dev and he said there's no ETA to update it, although he is aware of the issue.
I don't know premiere pro, but potentially you can use ffmpeg to convert the video - it's a command line app so may not be suitable for what you want to do. ffmpeg -i input_video.mov -c:v mjpeg -q:v 3 -s 210x135 -r 24 -b:v 1335k -c:a pcm_u8 -ar 10000 -ac 1 -b:a 80k output_video.avi That should give you something in the right format.

Amazing TV reception without an aerial.
Modern technology! My ESP32 version should be able to stream wirelessly - assuming the PCBs work, and I can write the software...

Yeah, you won't be getting that on my version!
we are into 28mm scale and pulp era - I would like 1927 cinema screen - Geoff and Kit
wow
Amazing!!
Yep, it a really nice bit of kit.
That's very cool lol. Not sure why I feel the need to have one, strange that... Looking forward to your rendition!
I know - that's why I've been trying to avoid looking at Kickstarter - keep seeing things that I have absolutely no need for, but really want...
Can you upload new video to the as card ?
It's very cute.
Your chart proves ESP32 is still the king of the hill.
Sure does - I really wasn't expecting it to be quite so dramatic!
looks a lot like Evil Edna, showing my age here.
It does doesn’t it! Now that was a great show.

@@atomic14 Thanks. I'll give it a try.
That's cool
Even my wife was impressed - which is pretty rare. Most things get a response of "why did you buy that?"...
Dont sit too close to the TV its bad for your eyes. 🤣🤣
Said a light bulb maker. 🤦♂
Interesting tiny telly. 2x👍
Yeah, it's a really nice bit of kit. The injection moulding is so much better than 3d printed stuff.
Not usefuk… but I like it 😄
Doing it with esp32 …Awesome idea 😉
