Nice job Darren. My second text to ye. I do NOT seek to undermine your good work but instead share a general thought Re soloing: perhaps "never" play notes that others in the band play? Thinking like this directs us to the other/remaining available notes. Forget the I chord because there is nothing to say on the one chord. Also play silence, not too many notes, I recognise you are teaching/sharing so you likely know all this. Also I don't know your body of work so forgive my intrusion. (For my part I have just worked the Tom Harrell Roman Nights [live/on YT] on Flugelhorn, by heart and I think you would enjoy digging that song out). The more we discuss and know, the more we musically grow Cheers
