I can’t believe the government of Jamaica has allowed the Gun Boat beach to get to this level gunboat was my childhood beach I remember back in the days when lots of activities used to take place there 😢😢 this really breaks my heart ♥️ seeing it also brought back memories of my mom grandma and other friends and family members
The Kingston Harbour is very very very poluted so swimming in the Harbour would be very bad for your health to much people dump rubbish in a THE GULLY when rain a fall, and the shipping industry with big ships carrying a lot on pollution
Wow! 🇯🇲. The good old Gunboat beach 🏖️. Oh Lord, I can remember that I usually visit this spot along the Palisade/Palisades Rd since the early 60s. The entire area I think, would do well with some modern improvements. Thanks! ❤😂💯🚧🚦🍕🏡👀⛱️🐈🌮🍕🥧☕🌞
Excellent presentation ❗❗❗🗣tears of joy in my heart 🙏i grew up in harbour view in the 70s to 83 my mom use to work at the shops at the beach..for mr.seyung big up fetta symes rip mommy and thanks for the best years of my LIFETIME 🗣🇯🇲
Bless up bigsupa, good walk, my father was a security at gun boat beach in the seventies. Dem a hide the gully in Prospect at the container in front of your lane . Bigup!!!
My dad had a red Capri with a black leather top in the 70’s. I believe it was a 1600 with a carburetor!!! The hood in the middle was raised. Big up Bigsuper!!!
Big super you best believe that sharks was always in that water because me and my friends used to do that same swim and i might even knows each other them days was nice to rasta jah.
Gun boat beach should have Close down long long time ago it is a very dangerous patch of ocean very deep who said government should of save it doesn't know any thing about gunboat Beach you don't know any one kill there if I didn't know how to swim I would have been a victim one Sunday afternoon thank God I was a good swimmer my country man was a victim there his body surface days later without a face may his soul rest in peace (RIP)❤️🙏🙏Earth Strong ❤️ 💪 Peace
Yes big super you are so right x77 Was also call the circler running from down town to the airport my parents used to play Sunday trips to the airport for picnic 😂😂
Big Super I enjoy watching your road vlog find it very interesting. But in this one you were very miss leading. You keep mentioning Kingston Harbour as an ocean. There is no ocean in Jamaica.
Gun boat was the go-to beach for most families on the weekends. The person with the biggest tube was the boss. There was no other beach that had a proper salt water smell like a gunboat. This is a testament that jamaica has actually deteriorated, pending on where your values lie.😢
Big Super I love watching your videos but there’s a but sometimes it’s best to keep your opinions private because even though you may mean no arm you must always remember that they are people out there who have wicked intentions for example when you mentioned about people parking their cars at their own risk because they’re no security . Information like this don’t need to be shared
I disagree. His opinions are good because they agitate the authorities to do something to make situations better. If no one talks, the problem will remain the same, and nothing will ever be done
Your idea of cutting the road and adding a bridge is not a good one, the bridge would have to be serviced regularly and that cost a lot of money plus that would be a weak spot in the road.
And as the fisherman said, the levels on both sides of the road are not the same. Hence, putting a bridge/culvert will lower the water in the harbour and render it to a swampy place. What needs to be done is for the citizens to avoid throwing rubbish into the harbour and for the government to do their part in keeping the harbour clean and free of pollution.
@@elgranjero2284 Do you not think that the force of water from the ocean into the harbour will cause erosion and years to come the main road leading into Kingston will be gone?
@@--christine That's a possibility. However, my point of view is arbitrary and bereft of engineering principles. I had a talk with my brother who is an engineer, and he thinks that what we are saying, one way or the other, is premature without proper assessment and feasibility study.
The Min of Tourism should fix up that spot. People coming from airport could stop and buy drinks, snow cones, coconuts, etc. Put benches so anyone can sit and relax. Why the govt allow these nice spots to fall apart?
Isn't the Good Year property currently under major construction/transformation to create the Morant Bay Urban Center? Maybe Big Super can do a walk (if allowed to) inside the construction area to highlight the current state.

The dumping of garbage, dead animals, old appliances, etc., in every gully in Kingston has led to the destruction of all the beaches in Kingston and St. Andrew. Yet some people blame the Government for everything that went wrong and is wrong in the country. Wake up to the truth😮
