Luckily I had the big net with me but I never had one of your net magnets so while I was faffing about, trying to get the net off me bag there was a almighty swirl in the canal and all we were left with was the poor things collar come floating to the surface. Clearly a 30 pounder, right?

I've been going since mid October & have seen pike, seen pike caught but only managed a perch on my first trip out, at least 18 sessions, 10 different venues & 60 hours+, the video where Tom breaks his 8 month blank gave me hope 😂 🤣 🎣

All those little males is a really good sign. That fishery is very healthy fishery my dudes. The giant females don't feed during spawn. They eat the males. I had a girlfriend - well never mind. Just keep fishing the giants girls will be showing up soon.
