I haven't ridden Blue Streak since it had nothing but bench seats and simple thin lap bars. I honestly never felt actual fear of being ejected on any other coaster in my life. And it was amazing. I LOVE hearing that you still get airtime on Blue Streak even with the new seats/lap bars.
I love Cedar Point! Been there many times since the early 80's. I have yet to go back since Steel Vengence opened. Last time I went was August of 2016.
@@ts4gv It is ok, but again incredibly painful if you have thick thighs. For people like us, there are far superior coasters to Steel Vengeance, like Iron Gwazi, and Shivering Timbers for airtime.
Enjoy your ride on corkscreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuw
Steel Vengeance is so unbelievably good. I love how it’s right next to Maverick, too. Last time I went, we bought Fast Passes & went back and forth between the two for hours.
Honestly, Steel Vengeance is terrible. Incredibly painful ejector airtime, bruises my thighs pretty bad as well. Much prefer the airtime on Shivering Timbers, and Iron Gwazi just blows it out of the water when it comes to comfort, and can be marathoned much easier.
@@supersanic1254 you must have had a terrible seat and ride combo, usually there is barely any ejector only flower and the restraints are the same as gwazi's, also gwazi is way more whippy and has more intense elements, while steve focuses on airtime. I hope you get better rides on it in the future!
I haven't been to cedar point in around 20 years, but it is nice to see most of all the rides I knew are still there except for the mean streak sad to see that one is gone 😢 that was a pretty good coaster.
I want to go here so badly. This has a lot of coasters I want to ride! I would immediately go straight for Millennium Force and then Magnum XL. I have a feeling I'd ride both several times too! 😅 I love the views you got too. Like the view of Steel Vengeance's drop and Millennium's overbank turns. Hopefully I will be able to go one day.
Cedar Point is awesome. I live about 35 minutes away from Kings Island, but CP is 4 hours away and my favorite park. Millennium Force is definitely an experience, especially if you ride front seat. It's very smooth, rides low to the ground so it feels really fast, and can make you tear up because of the wind from the speed. Steal vengeance is intense.. if your body can't handle super whippy rotations, don't ride in the back of the train lol, wait for the front seat. Magnum unfortunately is NOT fun anymore to me. It's so rough on the transitions and slams you on airtimes. It gave me nothing but a headache and bruised thighs from the lap bar. Arrow dynamics was never good on transitions. It was fine when I rode 20 years ago as a kid lol, but the ejections are just far too intense for me anymore. Maverick is by far my favorite coaster there. It's super smooth and feels incredibly fast because of how close you are to the ground. Hopefully you get a chance to go there sometime.
Yeah I have to know when you went lol. We’re you there last Thursday? I saw some guy videotaping from the same spot on the maverick, only noticing however after throwing up before exiting the ride… 🤣
Moved from Michigan to Florida a few years ago so I haven’t been to cedar point recently. It’s weird seeing the lack of Wicked Twister flanking the Giant Wheel.
It's not just the roller coasters that make this park amazing. It's the location on the lake, the hotels, the atmosphere (especially in the Frontier Trail), the underrated Cedar Point Shores Waterpark, the flat ride collection and so many other things I haven't even thought of. I do slightly prefer Six Flags Magic Mountain more because I feel their coaster collection is more diverse but my opinion could change after future visits to both parks.
I love millennium force but I feel like it’s lost it charm ever since steel vengeance came into the picture. My favorite coaster in the park is maverick without a doubt
Having operated Raptor I put it just above Montu. Do I think Montu is a better ride? Probably, but I just love the heck out of Raptor. I would go as far to say that in the back row, it has one of the best drops out there. One of the few drops that actually makes my stomach drop anymore. Not sure why that is but, none of the other inverts do that for me. As for Gatekeeper, I love its grace. I don’t think it’s place in the ride lineup should be lessened because otherwise they wouldn’t have a super graceful coaster experience like it.
Going on the 29th of June. Shame the dragster can’t be with us but Steel vengeance is more than worth it. I’ve never had a coaster make me legitimately say “where the fuck am I?” Good video! ((I kinda agree with your gatekeeper opinion. I just think the pure SMOOTHNESS of it gives it the name GateSleeper.))
They need to build more woodies. Just saying the words the only woodie just highlights this glaring hole for Cedar Point. They need a top tier GCI like Mystic Timbers and a dueling GCI like they showed at IAAPA.

Vengeance is a strong contender for greatest rollercoaster of all time. Definitely the best ride I’ve ever been on. Absolutely sweet.
I will definitely be riding it at some point no doubt.

Thanks for great updates as always Dan!

Hey man this is such an awesome video 😎 hope to see you visit Canadas Wonderland someday!!
That was a gorgeous angle at 4:38 of steel vengeance first drop!😍

Missed this premier was too busy being at Cedar Point myself hah.
Steel Vengeance is sheer perfection. This and The Voyage are the only coasters I give a perfect 10 to.
It definitely is not a perfect ten. It has flaws for sure. Any coaster that causes bruising loses a few points for sure.
Starting with corkscrew, love it haha
Yay you got me loading cabins at Skyride!!!
Oh wow, shout out to the Corkscrew operator :D Loved his energy~~ If you don't like the ride, at least he was the best thing about this ride ~~
He was the operator for my friend and I and we joined in on screaming corkscreeeeew with him
I love Millennium Force, even though I had to get assistance with the safety belt on actual ride, but in test seat can get it on my own.
What day were you there? I vividly remember the corkscrew operator doing the same thing
Hey Dan do you miss wicked twister

Raptor is good, but Afterburn is the best B&M invert currently. Absolutely phenomenal.
@@supersanic1254 I have to disagree. Good first half but weak finale. I’d put it at 3 or 4 as far as inverts go.
Anyone notice what looks like a stopped train at the top of millennium force at around 11:58 mark
Haha I was gonna say that
I wish corkscrew would get replaced with something like Fahrenheit

Great Tour and Review! It also interesting that the park is known as the "Coaster Capital of the World." Keep up the great content Dan! 👍
Corkscrew made me sore lol
Man they won’t let you strap a go pro to your chest to get the on ride view
