We are headed here in June, 2024 and have never been here. This video is absolutely perfect! Thank you so much for your time and effort creating it and sharing it with us. Our “home” park is Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. I’ve been going there for 58 years. Now I’m excited to visit your park!

The original Top Thrill Dragster was my favorite roller coaster of all time. Really sad they took it away but glad it’s still technically staying. Looking forward to the new experience.
Great video, thanks for posting....you guys are fun to listen to. I started going to Cedar point when I was around 6 months old. I am 55 now, and it's maybe been 6-7 years since I have been there. I have so many memories from there, it's a great amusement park.
great video but i dont think many parents are ditching their kids at camp snoopy to hit a roller coaster lol.

Good video guys!!!! Very in depth. We live about 2 hours away and go to the park multiple times a year. Obviously you know by now top thrill dragster will be top thrill 2 with a spike and a triple launch system. Thanks for a great video!!!

I agree with you on the Ferris wheel. Love riding it, but it definitely has the worst capacity. For some reason, it has been like that for years.
Thank you so much for the walk and 2023 tour, Rumor has it, Corkscrew days are numbered. That whole midway is getting redone. The spike on Dragster is supposedly 500 spike. We shall see.

I so have to ride Corkscrew. I am a fan of Arrow coasters since Viper at my home park Six Flags Darien Lake is one. I'm planning my first trip to CP this weekend!
There are four wooden roller coasters at cedar point. Gemin,i steel vengeance, mine ride and blue streak.
a true wooden roller coaster is one with wood rails like blue streak and mean streak used to be. Steal Vengeance Gemini and the mine ride are considered Hybrid Coasters Wood Frame with steal rails
Can't wait until summer. My favorite place. And the only park close enough to me. So all the coasters are my favorite versions bc they're the only ones i go on. Wish i could afford to go other places too

What month of the year was this taken? We're planning our first visit middle of September, is that a slower time/decent weather? Do you think we can ride every coaster in one day with flash plus, on a Friday hours open 11am-12pm?
This was filmed in May. I have been to the park in September on a Friday, it is quiet during the day and gets busy in the evening for haunt. You’ll probably get on most coasters on the Friday without the need of a fastlane.
Couple of questions…is there a fee to park? Which gate would you recommend entering through? Are the games in the Arcade free, or is there an additional charge? If you go down to visit the beach and the boardwalk are you able to get back into the park again? Would you recommend a fast pass…are these even offered? Thanks so much for any advice you have!
I believe parking is $25. Normally I enter through the main gate. The arcade games are an additional charge. If you visit the beach or boardwalk, you are allowed to re-enter the park. I would recommend the Fastlane if visiting on a weekend.

Do you have any tips or tricks for preventing motion sickness when riding roller coasters?I love amusement parks but as I get older I am more prone to motion sickness
Taking Dramamine (or similar) would help
If you have a fanny pack to wear around you're waist you don't have to worry about putting your bag in a locker.

hii! i have a question, if you don't rent a locker, where would you put your phone and wallet for roller coasters?
At Steel Vengeance they have free lockers, all other rides that have lockers are paid lockers. Most people keep their phone and wallet in a pocket.
Last time I was there; Millennium Force just opened with 4 hour wait. Was so packed that we did not get to ride much. Plus, any time before that, those who I went with caused tons drama. Sadly, I don't have any genuinely good memories from there. Now, I'm old and Disabled so, going by myself is not an option.

Back in the 80's and maybe into the 90's they'd let people freely go upstairs into Fort Sandusky. I don't know when that stopped happening, but it bums me out every time I go by it.

I’m about to go in like a week and my cousins are coming to we all r getting fast pass but their are groups the younger group get just fast pass older group which I’m in gets premium fast pass and the medium group which is 2 boys get premium pass the younger group has like the scared kids the meduim group has the kids who r brave but are no tall enough for all the rides the older group has all the kids who r not scared and can go on all the rides

They could have done so much better than Wild Mouse. I rode it once. I might try it next year to see if it has improved.

Love your videos! If possible could you tell me what in your experience is the best way to get from Cleveland to cedar point? Trying to plan a trip from Tampa to there in September.
I have only gone from Cleveland to Cedar Point with a rental car, I mostly use Turo for car rentals.
I'm taking my family to the park this weekend. Mind if I ask how the bugs were? Spiders on the train last year reached trauma levels for the smaller kids: I'd like to avoid that!
On our visit in Mid May this year not bad with bugs, but I’ve been at Cedar Point other times of year and getting hit with bugs in the face on roller coasters.

I wish you would have the same energy and enthusiasm when you visit Sea World Orlando or Busch gardens Tampa. Two of the better theme parks in America and I had to stop watching your videos on them. Always so negative about everything. NO park is perfect. Most are far from perfect, but the things you constantly pick out at Sea world happen almost everywhere, but don't hear it anywhere else. And I believe Orlando is your home area. Sorry for the negative comment, but I try to watch your videos of Orlando or Florida parks and end up stopping them part way thru.
Yep. It is sickening to watch them fanboy over Cedar Point, without acknowledging any of the critical issues the park has this year, like lack of staff, shots fired in employee housing, extreme budget cuts, I could go on.
I live about a minute from Cedar Point, but I gladly drive right by it to go down to Orlando and their parks that offer a vastly superior experience to what any Cedar Fair park can offer.
I think I was mostly positive on the pipeline review video
I really didn’t notice any extreme budget cuts. I assumed lack of staff on a Friday before peak season started was normal for this time in the season.

Been giving your comment some thought and I think it probably has to do with the different types of videos. Doing an update video at BGT or SWO, trying to mention anything newsworthy going on at the parks results in a lot of shots of closed rides or closed show venues etc, versus this video at Cedar Point just showing off the park overall. I quite enjoy SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa is one of my favorite parks in the country, but in a update video don’t really mention things that don’t change like how Iron Gwazi is one of the best coasters ever built or how the tiger enclosure is world class.
Later this year I’m planning on doing a walkthrough like this at BGT and I would guess the enthusiasm would be the same.
We never intend to be positive or negative, just sharing our honest opinions. I’m sure people think we are too negative in this video saying things like:
- Kiddy kingdom feels outdated
- negative review of corkscrew or mine ride
- if it rains or thunderstorms on your cedar point day you have nothing to do
- pointing out the town hall museum sitting there closed
- don’t buy a souvenir cup unless you want to spend lots of money on lockers
- Snake River Expedition doesn’t operate at the start of the year
- Park has very few indoor dining venues
But overall in this one felt like we were honest in our opinions.
Here we go again, sea world and Busch gardens and comparing them to cedar point!? The only thing they have going for them is they are open all year around. You got one ride mako at sea world. Busch gardens sure you now have IG but it’s have the ride if vengeance. Just be glad you live in Florida and can go to all your overpriced parks if you live near Orlando or can travel to them. You can’t beat cedar points big 4 rides anywhere in any park out there.
Hate to break it to you. I know from a reliable source, that The Corkscrew isn't GOING ANYWHERE!!🤣🎢♥️♥️♥️ When Top Thrill Dragster was still open, people were still standing in line to ride The Corkscrew. I personally was able to marathon on Corkscrew during a Very Dead Cedar Point Day. 40x in a row, without deboarding The Very Back of The Train, and Still Felt Great Afterwards. The Rollercoaster that Really Hurts, is Magnum XL2Painful!!
