TODAY DID NOT GO ACCORDING TO PLAN (Krka National Park, Croatia)

- Today definitely did NOT go as planned. We woke up early, grabbed a rental car, and made our way out to the beautiful Krka National Park here in Croatia. However, things were not quite as we expected once we arrived, and we even had done plenty of planning and research for this! Although today did not go according to plan, we ended up still having a blast!

I'm truly stunned by the beauty of Croatia...in old towns, down walkways, the beaches, the grocery, the gorgeous sights, all in the feeling of being modern. SOooo impressed with you, Croatia!!

When I went to Plitvice last year beginning of October it was pouring rain basically the whole time which was amazing because I had the whole park basically to myself and a few others and got to explore with a misty raining outlook which was STUNNING! Best day of the trip by far!

No swimming is because they are looking after their national parks, which is a good thing

I know it sucks, but they are trying to preserve nature, so be humble and bear the inconvenience for the greater good. ^^

You should go to the Iguazú falls. I also recommend Buenos Aires. I lived there and it is gorgeous.

Although it's part of the municipality, Stobreč is out of sight out of mind for most people in Split. Didn't expect that for Uber, though, but it seems to be the case.

Sounds like Grab/GoJek in Bali. You order a motorcycle or a car to get you from A to B...and they constantly skip you after agreeing on picking you up.
There are multiple reasons why they cancel - they have limited amount of drives per day they can reject so ... some of them drive both for Uber and Bolt so they ll have to reject some drives eventually ... also some of them tend to reject drives that are payed by credit card - again couple of reasons - they don't get money immediately but weeks later and they usually don't get tips (or are much lower) this way ... etc

Swimming in the park is forbiden in last 2 years bcs some tourists didn't listen to rules and crossed marked lines where you could swim. They were killed by the force of waterfalls and since than the park menagment decided to cancel out Swimming because too many tourist think they are so edgy and smart when they dont follow the rules and endager themselves.
I loved seeing the waterfall… the rain was such a downpour but maybe that was a sign of 10 months for your dad, seeing as all your siblings were flying kites 🪁
At least the storms waited until you were back on the boat.

Love to see your good attitude when it comes to plan changes for your day. But guys, you scare me to death.....don't be standing outside, like this, during lightning. My brother was struck by lightning when there seemed to be none around and my home struck twice. Not a good thing to do. That said....nothing better than a nice storm (without close lightning)!!!!
I worry because the entire Bingham family doesn't appear to either know about, or respect the lethal danger of lightning. One Bingham family swam in the ocean, well off shore, with lightning and thunder around them showing not a sliver of caution. Mona Jo! Please tell your sweet ducklings this is MIGHTILY DANGEROUS and life threatening. 🌩️ ⚡
Use Bolt instead of Uber in Croatia. I find Bolt to be cheaper and less drivers cancel on you. Enjoy the restof your trip.

Are you guys ever scared of poisonous spiders, snakes and critters in foreign places when you hike? I'd be constantly on the lookout for critters on the hike to be able to enjoy it!

Lovin all the beauty of your journey....but this is the first time I noticed chelles wedding ring.....it's not on her finger? Maybe I have just not noticed it when you have had it off before! My sweet mama bumped hers on side of sink while putting on lotion....yep, you guessed it, down the drain...on vacation! Gone, we thought forever! It was a small beach cottage, not a big resort! Hmmm, 2 mths later, we got a pH call, then a small PKG arrived to surprise my mom....yes! HER CHERISHED RING! The cottage owner was doing some pipe refitting, and he remembered mom and apparently cottage was closed when we left, for remodel and repairs! I SAY A GIFT FROM GOD! MOM REFUSES TO TAKE HER RING OFF NOW! JUST THOUGHT THIS STORY WOULD MAKE YOU GUYS CHUCKLE! STAY SAFE! CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHERE "WE" GO NEXT!!! GODSPEED.......
