- It's our final morning here in Dubrovnik, Croatia and we are so glad we did not leave without first trying this! This is an absolute must do whenever in Dubrovnik, Croatia! We are not staying in Old Town, Dubrovnik, although at times we wish we were for the convenience of being close to the incredible swim areas all around the walled city! We headed back down to Old Town just for the morning to go experience them. We found a great spot right around the corner from the Old Town marina, picked out a slab of concrete and hung out all morning! There are tons of swim decks, ladders, stairs and ramps to get in and out of the Adriatic Sea, as well as plenty of rocks to jump off of! One of the coolest things was the fresh water shower heads right on the Old Town wall! After enjoying this favorite spot of ours, we headed back to our apartment, packed up and took a ferry up to Korcula, Croatia. Cannot wait to show you a new Croatian city!

I'm amazed that many of these old cities look so much alike. Narrow little alley ways, steps galore, and beautiful stone buildings. Your excitement sure is contagious and I'm ready for another awesome day. By the way.....however do you find your next lodging? Down an alley way, up the steps..........

Dubrovnik is beautiful, no doubt about it, but you only scratched the surface....I hope you get to discover the rest of Croatia, the food and the fresh water parks like Krka and Plitvice

Hey Dan & Chelle....you should be collecting a few unusual rocks/shells from the beaches you visit....then, when home place the rocks in amongst your lands along and I place the shells I have collected over time, in neat bowls, buckets, baskets around my home! They add no weight in have/backpacks etc....and each time I see them around my home, I am transported back to that special place and time! Just thought you might want to consider this way of taking all these glorious places home with you! You can also bring a "found shell/treasure" home and gift it to a loved one to tell them you were thinking of them when you picked up their treasure!! Thanks for taking all of us along with you! I am recovering from CHEMO, and my #31 spine surgery, and all your videos allow me to travel while I am healing! Will Mana Jo being joining you somewhere along your journey?? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! WE MISS SEEING HER ON YOUR ADVENTURES!! STAY SAFE, AND HAVE FUN!!

You need to come to Füssen/Germany and swim in the Swan Lake.
There is a hill emerging from the lake and on top of it there is castele Hohenschwangau and in the far distance you will see Neuschwanstein castle.
This...this was incredible to swim in with this unreal background like in a fairy tale.
Be aware that the lake is an alpine lake and cold af. ^^
So clean there are even crayfish there in abundance.

Hello there!!! Love, love , love Croatia. Visited for the 1st time in May and just couldn’t get enough of it… We stayed with friends who live on a boat (big, big one) docked at a marina in TROGIR (a pretty “mellow” - borrowing from you - smaller Dubrovnik). We then stayed at a loft on the island of Ciovo for two more days. I just fell in love with every aspect of Croatia. However, sweltering heat is not for me. Are temperatures really unbearable during the summer? Hoping you the best!!! Ciao.

That is not ferry, It's catamaran. That's why you can't go outside.
And the ride is smooth, as they both noticed - because it's a speedboat. You could go outside in the back and on the top, though, on the old Russian ones.
