How to Cut an I can fly dress| How to cut a bustier top|How to fix a bra cup illusion of this dress

Hi sewists;it’s been a minute, I put up this interesting tutorial as a guide for making this beautiful long dress
Which could serve as a casual dress; beach wear and luxury wear as well!.
This tutorial has three major objectives ;
To show how to cut I can fly dress (the lower bodice)
To show how to manipulate bustier keyhole
To show how to fix a bra cup to this dress
You “ll need 2 to 2.5 yards of fabric to achieve this
Fabrics suitable for this style are;
1. Crepe fabrics (flowered crepe the one I used & even plain crepe will do)✅
2. Chiffon fabrics ✅
3. Cutton fabrics✅
4. Ankara fabrics ✅
These are trusted fabrics that would give exact or similar result as shown in the video .

But ma did you add two inches to the length of the front because if we remove two inches from the burst dart, the front length will be shortened by two inches ma

Oh no dear, the dart just takes off the excesses at the arm hole it doesn’t affect the length..plus if you don’t have much excess at the armhole you could reduce the dart to 1/2 inch

Thank you🥰.. just secure with pins then shape the front piece to the back
You could also secure the cups with hand-needle and thread (neatly though)
I used needle and thread myself but that was after coupling the dress.
