TG had the nuke like this before explosions rework in 2020~. Explosions blast was much slower, now it's instant and too much to destroy entire station and not kill the server.

They didn't think, clearly. There was a very easy solution that nobody ever uses: Stun/Slip->Cuff. Sure, you can't die to damage, but there's still instant death threats like the incinerator, telefragging with the shuttle, the Supermatter... and not to mention you're kind of harmless until you bust out of the cuffs, so. Yeah they weren't very smart about countering this.
While there's something to be said for conforming to META and covering all bases, screwing with something like this should only ever be treated as a "just for fun" situation. I think invulnerability + killing all of sec is a little much, even if perfect META players would be able to counter it, the vast majority of people don't play that way or understand the nuance. It shouldn't be taken advantage of EVERY time.
Also this reminds me of a few different bugs/exploits I had to fix for some mods and a game. ( The game mentioned being Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. The mods, well half of them no one would probably know of so I do not think it matters there. ) Where you could do things that ended up making you invulnerable to damage when you where not supposed to be able to do it. There was also a bug that allowed you to gain + 1,000x damage when it was supposed to be a heck of a lot smaller bonus.. This bug would also crash the game depending on what weapon/attack is being used.

@@fernando47180 My assumption is thusly: The rat mutation (or maybe just the heart) gives you a damage vulnerability of some kind. Probably 50% more damage from all sources. Removing the heart should clear this damage vulnerability, obviously. Except, codewise, instead of removing the vulnerability, they just add back 50% resistance. This works fine for the intended result of "you are no longer vunerable to damage, because you removed the rat parts", since the two things cancel each other out. HOWEVER, if the damage vulnerability is applied only while you have the organ, and it doesn't remove the damage resistance when its put back in, then we start to have a problem. Since you're 50% more vulnerable while you have the heart, and 50% more resistant for each time it was removed from you. This is why they do it three times each. A total of 150% damage resistance, and 50% vulnerability from having the rat heart, for an exact 100% damage resistance.

Тут интересная история, бург скинул видео где у него получилась неуязвимая обезьянка. он делал биоскрамблер аномалию (которая делает рандомные органы), рано или поздно ролилась опухоль легиона и оно жрало всех обезьянок кроме одной. Я и еще несколько людей начали разбирать что и почему так могло получится, несколько дней, и нашли трейт на резист к урону у той обезьянки. Поиском по код базе нашли что может дать такой резист - сердце крысы. С базой знаний "смешного" можно это применять ко всему новому что добавляют на тг, а добавляют постоянно.

couldn't you just use a high concentration of chloral hydrate or something to put him to sleep and cuff him? certain attacks seemed to put him to the ground, even if they did no damage

Yeah I don't think there's really any reasonable way to combat meta knowledge so I don't think it should be that much of a problem
