How refreshing this series has been. Calm, informative and interesting. No ranting [or thinking you’re the king of the road and perfect only to show yourself up minutes later] no endless moaning and judgments of others while forgetting how you look on film and cooking bacon and eggs, no plugs for books, merch, sponsors etc etc. No, you keep it real and classy. 10/10
Thanks. Can’t make any promises on not ranting or raving on occasion and expressing opinions but there will definitely never be merch, paid reviews, sponsors, cab cooking etc.

I think I did one way back in the archives and I was just sat in the cab parked up. I was only there four weeks then walked out. Poor pay, terrible trucks.

How come you didn't get a load/trailer for the return ?
Events isn’t like gen haul. The clientele have more money and are willing to spend it on things like keeping a trailer on-site for several months which covers the cost of a solo unit going across Europe.
Just found your channel Running solo to the UK 🇬🇧 how does that pay ??
If the client wants the trailer to stay on site for two months they pay for it. Margins aren’t quite as tight as gen haul.

As a tramper? Not very long when we’re busy.
Wouldn't it have been cheaper to leave truck in greece and fly home?
No the units are on hire purchase so it has to pay its way otherwise it’s costing a lot of money to someone. Since the client only needs storage the unit can come back and do other work for the next two months.
I reckon you need a lot of bottle to brave going abroad in a truck.
It’s not that hard once you get to know the rules of each country.

@@ericryan1340 How close is that to your theoretical maximum in a day. Ours is 560 miles, x2 if double manning.
@@DTWTheWanderingMuzungu that’s pretty much the limit, it was about 10:50 of my allowed 11 hours of driving, some guys out west could probably get close to 800 miles with a open truck on 75-80 mph limits
