I’m pleased with LINO LEIA’s full voice here! Listen to her moving into that bright tone on the climb up that iconic chorus melody! She has the natural voice to deliver it! I can see why Japanese fans love her as a solo singer. She has the charisma, looks, and voice type. She went slightly off-pitch a couple of times, but it’s understandable in a live setting. She also wasn’t bad in the low range. Kaori being there to provide harmony was cool too. The right choice because of her lighter low notes compared to Keiko’s.
The fact is the original singer hits different but we can always give chance and space to the new generations..thats how yuki.kajiura is giving them..they have potential ...
I think she needs to develop some more as a singer, there’s a lot of technical requirements in style, technique, and stability needed to sing the variety of music that Kajiura writes. Kaori was ahead of her age and contemporaries in her early days with SH, but rito and LINO LEIA are not at her earlier level yet. A bit more time and development and they’ll be better positioned.

Especially her singing of “Miezaru Ude”, which I continue to say is the quintessential Kaori vocal performance, showing most of her range and techniques. I’ve not seen another song that showcases her like that one!
she is a very good and talented artist and singer. She is not at the level where she is only trying to get the pitch right or imitate someone else's singing. She has her own originality and expression. That is what it means to be a top artist. If you just want to be a good singer, go to a karaoke bar; there are plenty of people who are better than the divas of fiction junction.

Exactly! Different interpretations and room to grow! Yuki Kajiura is still the composer and she wants to bring in new voices to do her works.
