I like Then Play On and the albums with Bob Welch although the band had stopped being a blues band by then, although that wasn't entirely Bob Welch's fault. Danny came to believe that the blues was a black person's music and a white person couldn't really understand and interpret it except maybe Eric Clapton and Peter Green. Ironically in later years when he became a homeless wanderer due to mental illness he really did live the life of a old school blues man and probably could have understood it.
Theres gotta be a huge trove of at least an hour of this footage from what looks like Headley Grange or Stargroves from 1971. So much of it is insanely cool footage, them driving around the forest dirt roads in a little doorless jeep....
Fleetwood Mac's Future games and bare trees albums 1970 and 71 Danny Kirwan is all over these two LPs ..... listen to "sands of time, I think it's on future games ... excellent
What I get most from watching Danny here is the confidence he's exuding. I believe he was happiest during the Kiln House days. Jeremy was having issues with his inner self at the time, but he and Danny were a wonderful team. I often wonder what could have been if he had stayed in the band for a year or two longer.

Danny Kirwan a fantastic singer and bluesman, Peter Green with Fleetwood Mac is the best blues band ever exist.

Knew Danny well for about 5 years back in the 80s when he had lost he way with life, it was tragic!! a superb musician
