The JR booth have some signs that say "Suica is unavailable" in english BUT after I walked up to the staff and asked to buy a suica, they said it was available. (This was 6 days before this video)

Great to hear that! We also checked with the staff while at the airport in late June and Suica cards were being sold on that day.

A important question, can you leave the narita airport by feet? Or do you need to have atleast a car?

Migrating to USA from Philippines and we have 19 hours lay over in Narita. Are we required shorepass or travel visa? We will be boarding the same airline to US and we will arrive and depart in the same terminal in Narita Airport

Thank you for this helpful video! Will be traveling in late October with friends and I am a bit hesitant to book Keisei Skyliner as I am not sure how fast we'll get through immigration/customs. Our flight is set to arrive around 8pm. Will it be a better option to pre-book a taxi or private transfer? Any other people in the comments section experienced the same dilemma before?

    Great info video. Thanks.
Is the Suica card still available at Narita AP?
I red a message on the Suica site that they only sell it at Haneda AP.
All other outlets don’t sell them anymore.

I went last month and I was able to pick up a Suica card from the JR East Travel center at Narita.

@@AltairStarlight thanks! Good news. We will be travelling to Narita in July.
But this is what I found on the JR East site:
Sales of JR East's Suica card (image of a penguin on the front) will be discontinued for the time being as of June 8 due to a worldwide semiconductor shortage.
And about the Welcome Suica card:
Welcome Suica will only be sold at the following locations from December 18th for the time being.
・ JR EAST Travel Service Center
      Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station
      ・ Welcome Suica vending machine
      Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station
In principle, only one Welcome Suica will be sold per person.
Luckily there’s also Pasmo and others…

@MikeHageman Yeah there was a similar notice when I went, but some folks online were saying that they still have it sometimes. If you have an IPhone you can get a digital one on there. I hope your able to find one for your trip! It's a life saver at the stations

      @@AltairStarlight thanks! Helpful info.
I read a lot of conflicting information and news about the Suica cards.
The iPhone app is nice, but in Japanese language only (still learning 😀).
And the way to use AppleWallet has it’s struggles with foreign creditcards.
      But, we will see.
I have been preparing our trip for weeks now. Complicated but very interesting.
Looking forward to see, smell, feel, hear and emerge into the Japanese culture, cities, customs and nature.
