GUYS I FUDGED UP. I guess the cream I got in this video is generally for body and they have a different one for the face... Thats probably why I thought it was so heavy 😅😅😭 Although (as I metioned in the video) you definitely can still use it on your face, and the brands says it's gentle enough to even use on babies! I will leave the links to the actual Face Cream in the description - now I wanna try it to compare 🥺
Hahaha i was surprised by the lack of the famous intensive moist cream. Hopefully you will get it and compare soon. I really enjoyed that one and it is light on the skin.
Yeah I also love the face moisturizer. It’s my holy grail. Also the lotion, I always switch between that one n the lotion from Hadalabo. U need to try the shampoo, it’s insane. Love ur Chanel !
For some reason i got too excited and bought all three level toners that I’m using for am and pm routine. Maybe that’s what helped for my skin to be extra hydrated 😅
I tried all the Curel products Tina mentioned except the wrinkle moisture essence. The intensive moisture cream (for the face) is quite heavy for me (combi skin in humid country). So I'm really interested in using the moisture essence next 😄 *I do agree that Japanese skincare can be quite confusing in terms of the labelling on their products i.e lotion as toners, essences as serums etc.
The cream is usually the last step of the skincare routine. It is to seal up everything you layered underneath. Moreover, the cream's and oil's molecules are large hence what you put on after it, is usually hard to absorb into the skin. If you want to layer it under makeup, you may just use the essence (something light/ watery). Squalane is an oil ingredient. Unless you have dry skin or live in a dry climate, it is recommended to use it at night.
Curel is also sold here in the UK in Boots which is great, I might try their cleanser and cream as my skin is very dry. I've used their gel makeup remover and quite liked it for days I just wore sunscreen without much makeup
I’ve tried this moisturizer and I 100% agree with your take. I would use it over certain products and sometimes it dissolved into them(over the Paula’s choice bha bc there’s a lot of solvents in that product) or just a lot of watery products -it’ll get stiff. Interesting to hear your perspective!
I've been using the American "Curel" as my face moisturizer and Body lotion since Middle School, I was curious of this line and tried it a 5 years ago but did not work out, I'm going to give it another shot and hope it does this time around.... really want to try the face wash, lotion and cream.
I didn't know they had other products thank you 💜💜💜 i bought the regular Healing Lotion w.Cermacide and my skin felt so soft and better. And my acne left. I love it!! Thanks for doing this video!! Excellent
Hi! just wondering what your thoughts are on the Curel foaming wash vs. Hada Labo hyaluronic acid foaming wash? trying to decide between these two for my next cleanser
Hi Tina, the moisturizer cream I have the same problem. I love it but somehow I don't lol. It just doesn't spread as it should be and leaves some visible layer although I apply thinly. I have same type of skin as you and as a person who likes to apply their moisturizer when their skin is a bit damp as well, I try to work with the cream in my palms first adding few drop of water and try to melt by rubbing my hands together than I press it on to my skin. Guess that's the easiest way I came up how to deal with it.
Hi! Just passing to say that I am learning a lot from you! I live in Japan from almost 16 years, but it’s difficult for me to buy skincare here.. I tend to get Korean or American brands, even though I know how great Japanese products are.. I just don’t know how to choose! Greetings from a Brazilian living in Japan! 🇧🇷🇯🇵🥰
Hi Tina! I’ve been discovering J-beauty lately and your videos help me so much! I saw Lululun has series of cleansers and lotions as well, curious if you’ve already tried them and if so, would love to hear your thoughts on the products! Thank you for all your content :)
That moisturizer is ridiculously small. Should be illegal to sell anything smaller than 50 ml. So annoying a I was gonna buy it, but dunno if the tax/duty is worth it, seeing it is quite expensive compared to the mount of product you get. I live in Norway, and I order directly from Japan. Yesstyle takes forever to get to me. Talking about the one for your face. Not the one in the video that is for the body, which is why it is bigger.
Would anyone recommend the moisture cream for dry + cold winter months? I live in Washington D.C. where the air gets very dry. My skin runs dry, too, and I have atopic dermatitis. My face isn't prone to eczema, fortunately, but it does get dry!

I’ve a lot of their products and they just burn and sting on my skin. Was hoping they were good.
