I doubt you will really say bye bye Nord. The Electro 6 HP with multi Tembrel sound layers and also much better split options. Pretty sure the TP100 keybed has been improved in the Electro 6 vs the earlier Electro 3 and Electro 4 HP models. But, I will say that the new Crumar Seventeen Excites me. But, how about a wood core keybed?

When its the same as the Seven in real it will sound even better. Also its not only about sound. Their boards feel really good and each engine feels like a different instrument. When I switch on the Seven I play different and it helps in creativity.

Do you prefer one above the other? I want to buy one, but don’t know if I should go for the seven or seventeen!

@@SuzukiPrincess I did not have the chance to play the Seventeen yet. You can search for the comparison chart en check the things which are important for you.
I have the Seven for almost two years and also play an older Yamaha CP piano in church. What I miss in the Seven are more split and layer options or a second pad type but I like how playable it is. You can change the sounds in many ways. It has a good engine and its fast. I think the Seventeen next to the Seven is great for the market but I think I would buy the Seven again without the screen and with not only presets.
There are some other brands too with the same kind of techniques but I love the Crumar with the almost endless effects. I also have a Teenage engineering OP1 as a companion. Great for a jam without the need for a computer and I use a pair of studio monitors. Great setup for many years of fun. I dont use the legs. I build a desk myself with the Seven in it with a large computer monitor in top.

@@crnova7 I have a seven absolutely love it, for layering I use midi and have a Alpha Juno 2 with the retoacktiv controller it makes for a dream. I also lucked out a few years back and got a really clean suitcase bottom for $100 that the seven sits on and plays thru it really brings out that old-school sound the stereo effects shine!

Nice E-Piano with great sound! Nice take on the RD-250 ! But I would prefare to have 76 keys instead of only 73!

    • @LeonardoEngineering

      73 is standard for epianos...

@@LeonardoEngineering I know, you're right ... and my first E-Piano was a Rhodes 73 stage piano in 1977 ! But the Crumar Seventeen is advertised as a homage to 80s E-Pianos, isn't it? The most famous 80s E-Pianos like Roland RD 250 and Korg SG-1 (which I still use) have 76 keys !

Sometimes I wish I would have bought a Crumar Seven instead of my Yamaha CP88. But it's a good stage piano.
