    I always know to empty out the lint in the dryer because otherwise my clothes will hold onto the lint. Its a fire hazard as well people. Put up a little sign to remind yourself.

      Is the lint the white fluffy stuff in the filter ? Or is the lint the filter thing ??

    • @Sethoffgrid
      @Sethoffgrid 2 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      @@Diana-kk6qz yes the lint is the fluffy stuff. They clump together to form a big mass of fluff in the filter. Do not get rid of the filter, it is what catches the lint. You just have to clean out the lint part bcuz it can set on fire.

    • @Laswm4950
      @Laswm4950 3 ปีที่แล้ว +169

      It’s called a plumbing snake. I DIDNT KNOW I COULD USE THAT FOR MY DRYER VENT 😂! I have one and it’s easy to use too. I bought mine from harbor freight. You use a drill to stick on one end and the long metal hose goes in the hole. It’s about 50ft or 100ft. Once the drill starts moving you can easily feel when you hit what’s stopping up your drain. Keep going until the metal move past it and pull out or reverse the drill. They have one that you can turn with your hand or use a drill. I have both. I’m going to do this tomorrow for sure! I unstopped my sink by myself before my husband got home one time and he was shocked 😂! I told him I’m not always trying to annoy you when I’m watching. I’m trying to learn in case I have to do it myself. As a woman it’s annoying to have a stopped up sink, toilet, or dishwasher 😂.

    The dryer ones always get me . I had a friend who’s house caught fire and everything they owned and I think 1-2 of their dogs died. We aren’t friends anymore cuz of some pretty awful stuff they showed me but we were friends for a very long time like from kindergarten till 7th grade which is roughly 8-9 years out of my 16 years of life 🤷‍♂️

    I'm laughing at the people who think the lint trap on your dryer catches all the lint and they're making comments about how shocked they are to find out that people don't empty the lint trap after every load...wth? lol...the general public is dumb...you still need to clean the lint exhaust pipe every year or so, lint always gets through and builds up over time...good lord...
