- At the start of my final year of medical school, all students must complete a medical elective. Before I started my elective I travelled to 5 countries and 13 cities over the space of 5 weeks!! I always get asked how i have so much time to travel, how do i balance my time and how can I afford to travel. The answer is make the most of the time you got! Think to the future and SAVE. Save on the small purchases not on the big ones.
