Revival of cold baby chick

- Hen didn't keep these 2 warm last night. I had to hatch them about 5 days after the others hatched. It was really too late to add them with mom. I'm new to chickens. I name the survivor "Vive". He lived inside for several weeks and I was getting him to spend a little time outside everyday, we were up to an hour outside after a week. He wasn't accepted by the other chickens and something got him. It was very sad. He was our little buddy. My daughter had grown very attached and would let him ride on her back around the house. I've since had this happen again (where the hen gets off hatching eggs and I bring them in)but waited to put him outside until almost full size, he has become a porch pet not knowing he is a chicken.

I think the hardest thing about working with animals of any job is that you deal with death more than an average worker. Not say that being a chicken owner has the most death involve with it, but it is very hard to do. The thing is not whether you deal with death, it the step you try to extend the babies life. As long as you commit a lot to extending the chickens life, you doing the right thing.
i can't find one of my baby chicks and im freaking out because i remember having 4 but i see 3 i think my little sister lost him

My chick is spend all his day in sun light and shade what he desire as,but i dnt know why he is gonna die,not heat stroke or not cold ,he just close his eyes for a day and then at nit die ( previous three chicks) his condition is same as their previous ones closed eyes not eating just standing position ,not making noise,how to deal with ot

I had a broady hen with 8 chicks three of the chicks got cold and left by the hen i got a ceramic heater and stayed with them for three hours untill they all one by one convulsed and died almost like they were choking but nothing was in there throats do u know what this is?

i also revived a chick that froze alive in cold water and he was ok but he died 4 weeks after :( atleast he got to live some more

I had 3 chick but 2 of them were died I don't know if the third one is going to die I hope it does not dies

yes heat them at 95. and give them a few drops of sugar water. To much sugar can make them constipated. I pinched a drinking straw and you can squeeze it to make water go in and out.

Sad but true: If they don't hatch with the rest, you either have to throw the unhatched eggs away, or raise them to full size yourself. Human-raised birds have difficulty rejoining the flock and almost always develop aggression problems. You are doing NOBODY any favors by "saving" their lives. Nature is pitiless.
