    I love the idea of keeping the self care items on your cart so they are close by if you need them. I never thought of that!

      I got the idea as I was looking for items to keep on the cart and I’m so glad I thought of it, they’ve already come in handy! And so glad it gave you the idea as well! 🥰

    If I'm not mistaken, those are cable stitch needles!

    I put my safety eyes in one of those bead storage boxes with little square compartments, it's really useful, and you can label each of them according to size etc.

      That’s a great idea! I’ve been meaning to do something like that but I just haven’t gotten around to it yet!

    Those long weird things are cable stitch markers for knitting. If I not mistaken. Great vid on organizing. I live in a real small space so I lose everything often. I usually am sitting on them or under my blanket. Tysm for the vid. Great ideas!

      You’re welcome! It’s definitely been super nice to have a mobile crochet space lol! And thank you for the info, I thought they had to be something for knitting since I haven’t seen them before!

    I was inspired by this video. Today I'm organizing /repurposing an old cart to be my yarn cart. Great idea! Thanks!

    I love love love this video. When you showed the box, my mind instantly went to selfcare stuff. I just recently reorganized my craft area (affectionately nicknamed my “craft corner”) and i have a little drawer with lotion, lipbalm, compression gloves, hand sanitizer, airpods, and just anything else i know im too lazy to get up to get after I’ve started working. Its super nice to know that we have similar mindsets, lol!

    I have a little self care bag with my wips too. Same stuff, lotion, chapstick, hair clip. It's great having all that stuff right by my side because I use them often.

    Loved your video. These carts are a game changer. I keep my self care items on the top shelf.

    I have hand lotion and chapstick within reach of my chair, too... And a nail file, because any rough edge on my nails will snag on the yarn!

    • @katiebeingcreative
      @katiebeingcreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      A nail file is a great idea too! I didn’t think to include that but I’ll have to add it!

    the things that you didn't know what they were, they are cable needles used in knitting cables in sweaters, afghans, etc.

    Hello! I've been trying to see if any joann's in Florida have that big wall of yarn. Have you been to the one in Brandon? Google pics show a yarn wall. I think they may have one and I want to go to it if so. 😂. It looks so pretty in pictures.

    • @katiebeingcreative
      @katiebeingcreative  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are actually quite a few Joanns that they’ve remodeled recently! The Brandon one is my closest store so I’ve been there (far too often lol) and was so excited when they remodeled the store a few months ago! I’ve also been to a few others with yarn walls like Naples, Fort Myers, and Orlando! :)

    omg ur so organized I love it! Right now I’m moving so my crochet area is in a box but this inspired me to create a crochet cart when I move to my new house!

    • @katiebeingcreative
      @katiebeingcreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you!! I think a crochet cart would be a great way to feel more organized after your move!

  • @kittivancsura6446

    I love this cart idea *-* I suggest you one bottle of water to put it to the cart, because the hidration is very important and if you have the water with yourself it is more chance to drink enough :)

    • @katiebeingcreative
      @katiebeingcreative  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally agree!! I prefer really cold water so I keep a yeti cup of ice water with me at all times and I drink a few of them a day! Now that I have my crochet cart filling up my water is one of the only reasons I get up for lol!

    Does the compression gloves work my hands hurt a lot lately when I'm crocheting. And can you use just reg 4 ply acrylic yarn for the stuffed animals

    • @katiebeingcreative
      @katiebeingcreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do think they work, it isn’t a super huge difference but I think I’m able to crochet for longer without pain and since they’re pretty cheap most places I think they’re worth a try! And you can use any yarn you’d like for plushies, a weight 4 yarn will just result in a smaller finished plushie than bulky yarns but that’s really the only difference
