    I give pulpwood trucks a very wide berth.
    Mid 80's, with a bus team in Tennessee, we came up on one. Straight truck. Pole racks were more weld than original material, and the welds looked like mud dauber nests. Overloaded to the point the frame was clear down on the stops, on the axle. One thin excuse for a chain over the middle. No mud flaps. Back tires all mismatched, two were flapping tread. He was down to 1st or second gear to hold it back on the downgrade we were on, somewhere between Spring City and Morgantown. We passed him. I guess he made it to the bottom, but I can't see how. Must have been his boy's guardian angels, working hard to keep him alive.

    Interesting method. Here in Sweden it is mostly used
    harvesters and forwarders. However, this looks effective.
    This is where the wood industry is built
    3m = 9.8ft pulp and 4m = 13ft timber,
    so that's how it works here.

    I, as one, come from Washington state USA. I am 76 years old now, but when I was 7 years old I would get out of school at 2:00pm catch a different bus number and go to where my Dad an Grand Dad were logging, an I got to run the cat back and forth off of a spar tree to load the truck with logs ( 6 wheel drive military Jimmy, set up with log bunks for 16 footers ) once loaded my dad and I would drive home. next morning I would go to school, an my dad would deliver the load of logs. And do it all over again during school days. Bye for now my friends, Michael said that.

    Hey there Thomas,
    Enjoyed watching the machines working. Just wondering, but I have noticed that the JD skidder more or less seems to run at a constant RPM. The Tigercat will rev up and down as required. Am I correct in my observations?
    Also there seems to be a fair amount of clay in the soil at your set (landing). It was lumpy and sure was sticking to the skidder’s blade when he was making the dirt pile for the eliminator.
    I liked what your Dad said “we buy equipment from JD and Tigercat. That way we can keep them honest.” Good policy. Thanks for your video work.

    Beavers 1 I still have nightmares about my 1st Beaver kill. My friend had some land that was used for used for recreational purposes. It has a lot of dugout filled with water, The entrance had a culvert across the road into the property, I showed up one day and entrance was flooded.. The culvert was plugged with trees. I cleaned it out and came back the next the day and it was plugged even more. I could tell from the trees that it was a Beaver. I watched You Tube videes about shooting a Beaver, so I got my 22 rifle out and went after it. I was walking aeound the trench lae one night and I could see the water moving and I got my rifle out and than their was a big spalsh in the water. I fired a shot but not even close. I walked further up to a bogger ponf and their was this Beaver swimming in circles. I fired a few more shots byt not sure I was even close. So I went a bought a Beaver Trap with all the attachments. Watched more You Tube videos on how to set it up and took it out and set it up. The next day I went out amd yo and behold their was a 34 lb dead Beaver. It was the ugliest rodent I have ever seen.
