Hi diya, when u were baking i saw that you used the machine too much... Wet ingredients you can whisk as much with the machine but as soon as u mix the dry ingredients to it..just cut and fold with spatula...this will make the cake airy and spongy.. may be try it next time

Quartz stains easily. And there is no cleaner that is effective. You have to keep checking if something has spilt and clean right away. Some stains simply don't go. Turmeric is the biggest culprit. Sharing from my experience. If you have a maid, cook or anybody else using your kitchen, it will be a big stress for you... Good quality granite with good thickness is better

Quartz is good if you go for dark colours. But immediate cleaning is always good if you spill something. I have burgandy quartz countertop
