To me, I wonder if he is flexing and isn't thinking it makes him look worse. If I were a Detroit fan, I would be wondering when he gets lazy with our team. This is a reflection on his character.

Adimtted to being lazy... imagine being his current gm hearing that after signing him long term 😅.. good riddance! I wasnt going to boo him, but after that statement i will for sure. Brady certainly won't be lazy when it comes to putting cat on his butt every time he touches the puck when we play them.

@jacklavoie2523 we missed the playoffs by 6 points.. there were so many one goal games where he had the puck on his stick in moments that could've turned those games around, and now he says he just wasn't giving his full effort in those moments.. how could you miss a player like that? I had no issues with him up until he admitted to being lazy on this ice, there's no excuse for that as a pro athlete! He put coaching and managements jobs at risk and basically ripped off the fans who paid good money to watch hockey at the highest level.
The only a**hole is the little pussycat. He said he hated Ottawa (Canada?) because we have no chipolates! Maybe he was trying to help the Red Wings make the playoffs! He's one of the most unprofessional athletes I've ever come across.

lucky we didn't pay debrincat, not trying on a losing team is one thing but does he legitamately not care about winning in the nhl? 3 more well timed goals from him and we make the playoffs last year, just a joke of a player

Cat never said anything against Ottawa, he was blaming himself as lazy. Hitting all those posts was not intentional. Use common sense and Lay off of him. He was great player and his absence will hurt the Sens. I don’t understand why all the remarks against him. He did the Sens and fans no wrong.

How will his absence hurt the Sens? Kubalik had 7 less goals than the Cat and costs $2.5M instead of $8M. Plus with Tarasenko (and hopefully Norris) they more than make up for the Cat. Saying you weren't even trying is a definite slight against Ottawa. Why wouldn't he try? What a loser he is. Can't wait for him not to have 40Gs this year, and hear what type of excuses he can come up with. Cheers
