Not sure if it's possible to do it but like, if you turn your back on the opponent to do the chidori, won't it technically bring you closer to them instead of getting away? I mean, not sure if this would have any utility but still sounds like a cool trick nonetheless.
Simple fix: make m1s required to start move cooldowns after using a move. (Move will go on cooldown after being used but won’t start counting down till you land a m1)
exactly what cisco said, its a fighting game archetype and many characters/ anime characters are zoners in their respective canon so they wouldn’t want to miss out adding a character just cuz the move-set would be ranged.
