Nice guide, loved it and this is how i make my javazons at the start of a ladder too. one change i would make is to shop for the 2os shield at Drognan in act2 normal. You can get a 2os bone shield from him, it has the best block chance while still not lowering your movement speed.
Question bro (great guide by the way) I was messing around with D2 Planner and I was able To create a set of javelin with +6 javelin and spear skills with 40 IAS. I’m assuming these don’t appear in game anymore

I agree. I mean if you farmed 1000 hours endgame already you probably know what you are looking for. Its the early and midgame like this where most people actually need help and advise. so this is infinitely more helpful.

The best guide I've seen since D2R came out. Finally one that doesn't start with: get an enigma and 2 grief swords with 2 hotos offand. Because let's be honest, if you have those, you don't really need a build guide. That being said, I'd have loved if you spent a few minutes at the end on how to upgrade the character, what itmes to farm for.
Really nice Junkazon video! You have my like, Sir, and I think that you'll get another one from my wife. I'm actually amazed by the in-depth thought put into this clip. With all due respect to the other D2 content creators, this is by far the best YT I've ever seen on this topic. MrLlama's speedruns are fun to watch, but hard to replicate, and Dbski's Human Bot Project... well, for sure, we can see lots of items we'd otherwise never saw, but it's not a tutorial. And every other D2 fan just concentrates on high-end gear, which makes very little sense to me. There's no point in basing the build around items that take thousands of hours to farm, or that can even never show up. Moreover no one needs to be reminded of a fact that certain unique items are useful, we'd rather appreciate help with the "mid-tier" equipment, and this is what your video covered brilliantly. What I personally enjoy the most is the section on How To Shop with all the little neat tricks, where to buy the particular stuff, and especially the javelins part of the video was so clever. I could go on and on, but by now you surely understand that I'm very happy that I came across this video. It made me reconsider so many things about D2 and Zon in particular, that I watched it three times in a row just to digest it properly. What I'd love to see the next? Javazon Players1 single player PvM playthrough. Just like the good old days twenty years ago. You, your heroine, and her journey through the world of Sanctuary. I know that it can be tedious to play it for the n-th time, but maybe you could make a condensed tutorial concentrating on major factors/issues to consider in each Act, and some advice on leveling, farming, and stats points distribution from Den of Evil towards Worldstone Chamber. Many thanks for the heart! I recently realized that there's a cool Safety Weapon crafting recipe for spear class that of course works with Amazon-only javelins. It is easy to find the necessary items (in fact it's harder to cube the emeralds and stash the stuff), and there are not many things that Amazon really needs from her javelins (mostly replenishment and increased stack size; they will have the +jav by default), so with a bit of luck, one can get his own Poor Man's Titan's. Maybe it's faster to simply milk the cows, but there's the cube recipe for Scintillating Amulet (do I got it right, spelling included?) that surely needs a LOT of PGems, but it is a sure hit. Similarly, it's easy to obtain ingredients fro rings, except maybe for the Exploding Potion. With Lore Helm, Sc. Amulet, and Garnet plus Cobalt Ring, you'd have a solid resistance base. Surprisingly, Malah offers a good assortment of javelins and/or throwing spears. It may be wise to farm Eldritch bit more (increased gold and odds of some good drop), and checking Malah's offers when selling the loot. It's not that proficient as portal-Anya-portal, but it's not that boring either. I bought quite a few +2jav, +1Ama throw. spears at her while returning from the A5 Triumvirate, and it takes just few seconds to check her offers. I got a +2AmaPropag spear from her on lvl87, and I like it. A self-found char should have a lots of things by the late NM, so maybe my ideas make sense... :-)

@@vaderl4605 Hi Vader, maybe I can help a bit... You may just use the Lower Resist wand on switch. This may be the best approach, but I dislike it. Then there are two other possibilities, and each of them uses Peace runeword, mostly because without Infinity you really need the slvl 15 Valkyrie buff. (It's not exactly 15 free points, as you need to spend six points in prereqs, but yeah...) 1) Poison+Plague Javelin, maxed. These deal insane amount of damage and Plague has a kinda big AOE. pros: works better with +java items, you can use shield and have teleport/LR wand on switch cons: poison is slow, Gloams are LI+PI (this is in fact a huge trouble, as it means no/few Baal runs) 2) Cold+Freezing Arrow, maxed. Very fast attack with solid AOE pros: fast, freezes target, effectively uses Pierce, not many relevant LI+CI monsters cons: needs to switch to bow, +skills harder to work, no shield on switch (very bad against Gloams), needs Melody rw in at least a +2Bow base I used the frezing bow for the walkthrough, now when I no longer need to kill Baal, I use LF + Plague. I can run WSK, but I must restart when there are Gloams, as I simply cannot kill them.
Top teir guide. Right to the point with all the important and less talked about information. I hate searching for guides like this and finding videos telling you to gear up with enigma and other GG items. If you already have access to those items, you certainly have the knowledge to make those low-effort guides obsolete. Props to you.

Yo, I have played d2 since release, and finally quit in the last two years. Coming back to prepare for D2R, and this video was absolutely amazing. I have NEVER thought of a 3x Tir helm... Honestly, pretty crazy that after 21 years of playing this game I can still learn something new. Great stuff dude! I know this is old, but had to still comment, this is a really good video more people should see old a new players alike!
Thank you for this video, you definately deserve more views. Ive come back from diablo from like a 10 year hiatus, I wasn't very good back then but am trying to get there this time around, there are so many guides out there that just start with endgame gear and just assume you have everything.

Especially bc the last time I've played D2, I was desperately trying to grind for Ribcracker for my wolf druid, and I've spend like half a year playing on and off in Nightmare, and got very disappointed by the fact that some of the builds are built around very rare items. I might even get back to playing D2, after watching this guide)))
watch a speedrun of a sorc, run hell mephisto for gear. You can find some of the best gear there in the game, very quick and easy with a Blizzard sorc once you respec. If you are online bnet player you might even find a player to rush you there fast, if not just follow what the speedrunner did. (LlamaSC has runs with every build)
hey man, great video. i have been a javelin main since roughly 2002/03 and never thought of the (x3) Tir Rune for helm as a cheap alternative -- I actually use this Tir Runed -- Helm (x3) and shield (x4) when helping with normal speed carries and some nightmare -- great idea! As some may have already said -- "you can still learn things after 20 years of playing" Also, there is a item level requirement for some items to be purchased from an NPC -- Many players I don't think realize this and may possibly be the reasoning why some people are not able to find the item from the NPC -- an example could be, of the +3 skiller gloves / 20% IAS. Could possibly show less for those under Level 85 (just throwing a number out there) compared to say a level 65 character. It is a very lengthy explanation for this but, i will do my best to simplify it as best i can. when we talk to an NPC the item level is typically +5 of our current level that they will be selling to us. So, say if you talk to an NPC at level 30 the items the NPC is vendoring to you to purchase will typically be around the item level 35 range, with whatever magical Affixes or Prefixes. This will also apply to Gambling for items (IF I am not mistaken and my memory serves me right since i last played) With this being said, for some of those "desirable" magical Rings/Amulets -- it could very much be worth your time to gamble for rings and amulets from Act 1 -- Hell mode - Gheed (bottom left corner of town - Act 1) If you were to be above level 65 you could have an opportunity for say a higher level duo leech (5%/6% combo) with resistances on rings or possibly a 2 skiller amulet with str and say 2 other resistances on it OR even a 3 skiller with say 1 other magical property -- All resistance or say 10% faster casting speed. These are just things i have learned over the years that i thought were worth sharing even though this is 2 years after your video being posted but, felt if anyone was to read the comments, that hopefully this could help them out. I will be very much playing D2R so if anyone wants to team up for runs, anyone is more then welcome to join. Happy Hunting in D2R Champions.
Javazon is definately op even with scratch gear clears nightmare cows so fast found so many goodies such as skiller gcs mal rune Etc also good place for early grinding gear at starting ladder. Good guide liked it
I know this is years after this video was released but what i would do differently is choose Fara as my vendor for armor and Drognan for shield. Fara can have a breast plate with 2 sockets which is a light armor and has more defense than the armors sold in a1 normal. Drognan sells skull shields which have higher defense and block chance(not that it matters that much but i like the look of it more than the "round" shields). In the end most of this is purely aesthetical because the defense difference is so low. Good video! Cheers!
another alternative to get very good javelins is crafting them as a safety weapon (amazon javelin, jewel, sol rune and perfect emerald is the formula) , we know that is dificult to craft but those amazon javelins can spawn with: +1-3 to javelin and spear skill +1 to amazon skill (i don´t have seen a +2 to amzon skill yet) -10%-40% IAS -extra damage against demons and undead -very nice and high enhaced and elemental damage, damage reduction by default and replenishes quantity :0
Info is good, voice is chill to listen to.... but oh boy are you talking around the point like there is no tomorrow, the video could've been 1/3 of the length, if youre able to plan out, stop repeating everything like 5 times, your videos will be top tier for sure.
Overall Javazon was a blast to play until Hell. I have previously found Titans Revenge (regular, non-eth version) and Razortail so it was a good start. Added Lore helmet and Peace armor and ran through Nightmare faster than any other character by far. But then I switched to Hell... and Javazon suddenly lost 80% of her appeal. Not only regular mobs now take significantly longer to kill, but also no way to deal with lightning immunities. Jab deals very low damage on regular monsters and almost not usable on champions. Also Javazon is extremely fragile. I had to put skills into dodge (+1 each) and carry 3xdiamond shield to at least not get one-shot all the time. Javazon can be fun to play, but in order to be viable in Hell she needs extremely good end-game gear. Things that would take over a year to find.
Absolutely agree with you. I got javazon with really good gear, but without infinity (I cant find second Ber rune) and lighting imunne monsters are pain in ass :-(
FYI, Shael rune is super easy to get from nightmare countess. Also you can get a 2os bone shield from Drognan in normal, which is useful if you are trying to go max block.
Do note that when you can, especially when you cow, herd them tightly as that when lightening fury does its most damage. I like to herd together 3 to 4 groups of cows before I unleash lightening fury.
Excelent Video , Great Explaination of everything well i wish it had things like what items to aim for next etc from farming cows . Also i saw you have only 3 Budget Builds. I would love to see a Blizz Sorc for example that i play in single player with later on what items to aim for and also for other classes budjet builds ! Hope you make them sometime !

Valkerie wing is budget, razortails is basicly shit thats why its cheap, so if you guys plan to do a good javazon in the future, 1-griffon's helm 2-arach belt, 3-fcr and ravenfrost rings 4-maras or a plus 2 zon skills with fcr res amulet 5-phoenix shield 6-eth titans 7-Enigma chest ( yeah good javazons use enigma ) 8-Call to arms and spirit shield 35% fcr Spirit shield must be 35% because you switch into CTA hand to teleport trough the map, then switch back into titans for combat, i know it is not even close to fcr brakepoint, but you absolutely dont need to hit the brakepoint, 75% fcr is more than enough to let you teleport across any map without being hit, you always can replace phoenix shield for a spirit ( once you use phoenix you wont regret ) or a 4x rainbow facet shield for duels, but i strongly recomend yall to use enigma javzons specially if you get an infinity for your mercenary, your zon will be able to do any map pretty fast, and remember it is not PoE you will be fine even not maxed res, just dont let it become red
-Amazon has terrible FCR breakpoints, you are better off running. -This is a budget build, no Enigma. -You sacrifice way too much to be able to teleport.

Question if you have time to answer (I know this video is 3 years old) I’ve found tons of beginner and end game tutorials but I’m around level 35. So far I’ve only seen ppl adding to VIT after a touch to strength to equipped gear. I know end game I need 150 strength and 120 DEX to equip gear. When should I start adding points there ? Do I wait for a NM/Hell respec? Sorry I just don’t want to have 209 VIT and all a sudden need 200 points to add to DEX/Strength. Ty so much for your content !! Binge watching it atm!
Don’t invest too much in lightening attacks. Some enemies and uniques are immune to lightning and you can screw yourself over if that happens. Learn an ice or fire bow skill to go along with your weapons.

Used this guide, except leveled from scratch in single player. Got into Hell and at lvl 75 now in just a few days. Awesome, thank you! Do you have any tips for how to deal with lightning immunes in late NM or Hell? My res is way too low for Hell and even with insight merc I'm just too squishy for most LI mobs. Trading isn't really an option on single player. Just keep farming NM Meph/Diablo/Baal until I get better gear? Or do you have any other budget tips? :D Thanks again!
For res u can use smoke runeword (nef + lum). It gives u +50% to all res. If u dont have runes run countless few times. U should keep running Mephisto, Diablo and Baal until u find better gear for u and your merc. U can also try to trade wand with lower resistance charges from merchants and put it on switch. Or u can make java/bow hybrid to deal with lighting imunne fakers :-)
best option is always to ignore the light immunes and run past them. in SP Act3 that is not an option when you need the Organs. you can try to reset the map for monstergroups with no light immune, gear your merc (also bug him) or spec 20 points into Valk and let her do the dirty work. (my Valk killed Hell Ancients on SP for me) in Chaos and Ancients you can restet until there is no light immune boss or let Valk/Merc do the job slowly. for resists Ancients Pledge in Shield (RalOrtTal), 3os helm (ideally a magical one with 10fhr or other mods) socketed with Ral/Ort/Thul that you farmed at NM countess. Gloves, Belt, Boots can always be shopped for up to 40 resist if you have the dedication. obviously shop a Teleport charges staff for switch and with a Lower resist charges Wand you can break the immunities of a few regular light immune monsters (unfortunately not from bosses).
Charsi sells "boots of transportation" sounds silly 30% frw + 70-80% slower stamina drain... pop a vamp gaze on and you will only lose 1 stamina and will run literally forever// fun niche
how are you able to simulate players 1 vs players 8 ? is this pluggy? i reccomend usabattlenet, its a modded game online, xp is 1-75 10x, more unique drops etc, pretty dope af, ty for this video btw pretty cool, very helpful. ive noticed act 3 travincal, the sorceress guys right near the entrance, have some pretty strong item drops there. dropping alot of uniques per guy.

If you want a beautiful build I use to do. A spirit shield that had 35 fct. Arachnids. Mage fists war travs. Eth titans maras. Enigma. Off hands cta with a spirit. Merk with an infinity and eth fort. You will see these build soon once the game gets released
A magic find zon essentially. Jack her up with mf charms. She's great for all areas . Infinity drops all light res characters on your mark. So you can destroy everything in the game other then ubers
so as far as i know on d2r for gloves the + to skills can roll on non gold gloves (i just shopped a pair of +3jav/+15ar) edit: just passed a pair of 20% ias gloves that werent gold too
With d2r just around the corner and me being a poe player never really played d2lod a ton would this be a viable first character/ladder character Im really drawn to the javazon mostly due to her insane clear and single target but not sure how well she would preform early ladder without infinity and other items to push her for farming hell
I did Sorc and Pal and did Amazon till Hell and in hell it feels like I hit a brick wall because of all the lightning immunes lol. Poison feels kinda slow with DOT (even with trangs gloves) and immolation arrow or freezing arrow takes too much mana and doesn't do a lot of damage. Which do you think should be the secondary: freezing, immolation, or poison javelin?
instead of going for a 2ndary , avoid the light imm monsters completely if u can & use decoy 2 lure them away .. if u hav 2 fight , use an a2 merc w/ might & a strong wep to kill the light imms
@@MrLuffy9131 shop for some chance of frostnova gear, use Valk and decoy to be able to run far enough to get the WPs and set up lots of TPs when it feels a little safe or you found a dead end. teleport charges staff works in the Spider Forest/Great Marsh/Flayer Jungle but is suicidal in the dungeons. optionally you can then farm Lower Kurast super chests for better gear. reset maps to get less light immunes (so that maybe only 1/3 monsters are light immune in the organ area)
lore is the way to go but +6 mana is okay but you don't need it + 2 is fine! 20 mana a cast and many cows dies = almost all mana back after the 3 throws, + you regain mana while hearding! lore is betetr but ofc harder runes!
@@smonyboy I'm newer to the game only 4 years but I made one that had no problem going through the first half of nightmare without any unique items and only the runeword that you get in act 5 before my computer was destroyed
thx !! the only light imms in chaos r wraiths , jus ignore them if u can & put up decoy to lure them away otherwise .. u can build up an a2 merc w/ a decent polearm to kill them too
on bnet ladder , spirit's always an option if u dont need rhyme if ladder rws not available ( e.g. nl or sp ) , i wudnt recommend a shield rw .. id say to get a 3os shield & go tir+tir+tir : )
waste to max out synergies for fury because its only 1% each after already grabbing 20% with strike... better to improve your defense skills with those points or unbind yourself from razortail for even more survivability

What I'd love to see the next? Javazon Players1 single player PvM playthrough. Just like the good old days twenty years ago. You, your heroine, and her journey through the world of Sanctuary. I know that it can be tedious to play it for the n-th time, but maybe you could make a condensed tutorial concentrating on major factors/issues to consider in each Act, and some advice on leveling, farming, and stats points distribution from Den of Evil towards Worldstone Chamber. This will be bodacious.

I recently realized that there's a cool Safety Weapon crafting recipe for spear class that of course works with Amazon-only javelins. It is easy to find the necessary items (in fact it's harder to cube the emeralds and stash the stuff), and there are not many things that Amazon really needs from her javelins (mostly replenishment and increased stack size; they will have the +jav by default), so with a bit of luck, one can get his own Poor Man's Titan's.
Maybe it's faster to simply milk the cows, but there's the cube recipe for Scintillating Amulet (do I got it right, spelling included?) that surely needs a LOT of PGems, but it is a sure hit. Similarly, it's easy to obtain ingredients fro rings, except maybe for the Exploding Potion. With Lore Helm, Sc. Amulet, and Garnet plus Cobalt Ring, you'd have a solid resistance base.
Surprisingly, Malah offers a good assortment of javelins and/or throwing spears. It may be wise to farm Eldritch bit more (increased gold and odds of some good drop), and checking Malah's offers when selling the loot. It's not that proficient as portal-Anya-portal, but it's not that boring either. I bought quite a few +2jav, +1Ama throw. spears at her while returning from the A5 Triumvirate, and it takes just few seconds to check her offers. I got a +2AmaPropag spear from her on lvl87, and I like it.
A self-found char should have a lots of things by the late NM, so maybe my ideas make sense... :-)

You may just use the Lower Resist wand on switch. This may be the best approach, but I dislike it. Then there are two other possibilities, and each of them uses Peace runeword, mostly because without Infinity you really need the slvl 15 Valkyrie buff. (It's not exactly 15 free points, as you need to spend six points in prereqs, but yeah...)
1) Poison+Plague Javelin, maxed. These deal insane amount of damage and Plague has a kinda big AOE.
pros: works better with +java items, you can use shield and have teleport/LR wand on switch
cons: poison is slow, Gloams are LI+PI (this is in fact a huge trouble, as it means no/few Baal runs)
2) Cold+Freezing Arrow, maxed. Very fast attack with solid AOE
pros: fast, freezes target, effectively uses Pierce, not many relevant LI+CI monsters
cons: needs to switch to bow, +skills harder to work, no shield on switch (very bad against Gloams), needs Melody rw in at least a +2Bow base
I used the frezing bow for the walkthrough, now when I no longer need to kill Baal, I use LF + Plague. I can run WSK, but I must restart when there are Gloams, as I simply cannot kill them.
Top teir guide. Right to the point with all the important and less talked about information. I hate searching for guides like this and finding videos telling you to gear up with enigma and other GG items. If you already have access to those items, you certainly have the knowledge to make those low-effort guides obsolete. Props to you.

Yo, I have played d2 since release, and finally quit in the last two years. Coming back to prepare for D2R, and this video was absolutely amazing. I have NEVER thought of a 3x Tir helm... Honestly, pretty crazy that after 21 years of playing this game I can still learn something new. Great stuff dude! I know this is old, but had to still comment, this is a really good video more people should see old a new players alike!
Thank you for this video, you definately deserve more views. Ive come back from diablo from like a 10 year hiatus, I wasn't very good back then but am trying to get there this time around, there are so many guides out there that just start with endgame gear and just assume you have everything.

Especially bc the last time I've played D2, I was desperately trying to grind for Ribcracker for my wolf druid, and I've spend like half a year playing on and off in Nightmare, and got very disappointed by the fact that some of the builds are built around very rare items. I might even get back to playing D2, after watching this guide)))
watch a speedrun of a sorc, run hell mephisto for gear. You can find some of the best gear there in the game, very quick and easy with a Blizzard sorc once you respec. If you are online bnet player you might even find a player to rush you there fast, if not just follow what the speedrunner did. (LlamaSC has runs with every build)

hey man, great video. i have been a javelin main since roughly 2002/03 and never thought of the (x3) Tir Rune for helm as a cheap alternative -- I actually use this Tir Runed -- Helm (x3) and shield (x4) when helping with normal speed carries and some nightmare -- great idea! As some may have already said -- "you can still learn things after 20 years of playing"
Also, there is a item level requirement for some items to be purchased from an NPC -- Many players I don't think realize this and may possibly be the reasoning why some people are not able to find the item from the NPC -- an example could be, of the +3 skiller gloves / 20% IAS. Could possibly show less for those under Level 85 (just throwing a number out there) compared to say a level 65 character.
It is a very lengthy explanation for this but, i will do my best to simplify it as best i can.
when we talk to an NPC the item level is typically +5 of our current level that they will be selling to us. So, say if you talk to an NPC at level 30 the items the NPC is vendoring to you to purchase will typically be around the item level 35 range, with whatever magical Affixes or Prefixes. This will also apply to Gambling for items (IF I am not mistaken and my memory serves me right since i last played) With this being said, for some of those "desirable" magical Rings/Amulets -- it could very much be worth your time to gamble for rings and amulets from Act 1 -- Hell mode - Gheed (bottom left corner of town - Act 1) If you were to be above level 65 you could have an opportunity for say a higher level duo leech (5%/6% combo) with resistances on rings or possibly a 2 skiller amulet with str and say 2 other resistances on it OR even a 3 skiller with say 1 other magical property -- All resistance or say 10% faster casting speed.
These are just things i have learned over the years that i thought were worth sharing even though this is 2 years after your video being posted but, felt if anyone was to read the comments, that hopefully this could help them out. I will be very much playing D2R so if anyone wants to team up for runs, anyone is more then welcome to join.

You shop for the 3-20 gloves from nightmare Anya at precisely level 75.
Javazon is definately op even with scratch gear clears nightmare cows so fast found so many goodies such as skiller gcs mal rune Etc also good place for early grinding gear at starting ladder.

yo I'm pretty new to javazon builds, thanks for this.
I know this is years after this video was released but what i would do differently is choose Fara as my vendor for armor and Drognan for shield. Fara can have a breast plate with 2 sockets which is a light armor and has more defense than the armors sold in a1 normal. Drognan sells skull shields which have higher defense and block chance(not that it matters that much but i like the look of it more than the "round" shields). In the end most of this is purely aesthetical because the defense difference is so low. Good video! Cheers!
This guide helped me a lot. I'm lvl 88 now. Still no 3/20s! I settled for 3/10s and gave up my 2/20s earlier. Now, I can't even find 2/20s

another alternative to get very good javelins is crafting them as a safety weapon (amazon javelin, jewel, sol rune and perfect emerald is the formula) , we know that is dificult to craft but those amazon javelins can spawn with:
+1-3 to javelin and spear skill
+1 to amazon skill (i don´t have seen a +2 to amzon skill yet)
-10%-40% IAS
-extra damage against demons and undead
-very nice and high enhaced and elemental damage, damage reduction by default and replenishes quantity :0

Amazing thoroughness for a low level starter build. Didn't even mention Infinity, lol.
Info is good, voice is chill to listen to.... but oh boy are you talking around the point like there is no tomorrow, the video could've been 1/3 of the length, if youre able to plan out, stop repeating everything like 5 times, your videos will be top tier for sure.
Overall Javazon was a blast to play until Hell. I have previously found Titans Revenge (regular, non-eth version) and Razortail so it was a good start. Added Lore helmet and Peace armor and ran through Nightmare faster than any other character by far.
But then I switched to Hell... and Javazon suddenly lost 80% of her appeal. Not only regular mobs now take significantly longer to kill, but also no way to deal with lightning immunities. Jab deals very low damage on regular monsters and almost not usable on champions. Also Javazon is extremely fragile. I had to put skills into dodge (+1 each) and carry 3xdiamond shield to at least not get one-shot all the time.
Javazon can be fun to play, but in order to be viable in Hell she needs extremely good end-game gear. Things that would take over a year to find.
Absolutely agree with you. I got javazon with really good gear, but without infinity (I cant find second Ber rune) and lighting imunne monsters are pain in ass :-(
Word to the wise: roll a good map for Hell Andariel and farm her. I got most of my gear in a week or so.

FYI, Shael rune is super easy to get from nightmare countess. Also you can get a 2os bone shield from Drognan in normal, which is useful if you are trying to go max block.

Do note that when you can, especially when you cow, herd them tightly as that when lightening fury does its most damage. I like to herd together 3 to 4 groups of cows before I unleash lightening fury.

weapon NM Anya: Throwing Spear +2 Amazon Skills or +3 Jav Speer Skills (best) or 40 increased attack speed, ... WITH replenish would be awesome
gloves NM Anya: 3,20 .... or easier to get 2,20 (golden color item image)
belt NM Larzuk: +80 or more life or +25 hit recovery (4 slot plate belt of course)
head NM Larzuk: 3 socket helmet with 3 Tir Runes for Mana gain
armor Normal Charsi Act 1: 2 open socket armor -> stealth rune word TAL ETH
shield Normal Charsi Act 1: 2 open socket shield -> rhyme rune word SHAEL ETH to be un-freezable

Valkerie wing is budget, razortails is basicly shit thats why its cheap, so if you guys plan to do a good javazon in the future,
1-griffon's helm
2-arach belt,
3-fcr and ravenfrost rings
4-maras or a plus 2 zon skills with fcr res amulet
5-phoenix shield
6-eth titans
7-Enigma chest ( yeah good javazons use enigma )
8-Call to arms and spirit shield 35% fcr
Spirit shield must be 35% because you switch into CTA hand to teleport trough the map, then switch back into titans for combat, i know it is not even close to fcr brakepoint, but you absolutely dont need to hit the brakepoint, 75% fcr is more than enough to let you teleport across any map without being hit, you always can replace phoenix shield for a spirit ( once you use phoenix you wont regret ) or a 4x rainbow facet shield for duels, but i strongly recomend yall to use enigma javzons specially if you get an infinity for your mercenary, your zon will be able to do any map pretty fast, and remember it is not PoE you will be fine even not maxed res, just dont let it become red
-Amazon has terrible FCR breakpoints, you are better off running.
-This is a budget build, no Enigma.
-You sacrifice way too much to be able to teleport.

Sorceress has teleport and Frozen Orb kills with no gear, so probably no.

Question if you have time to answer (I know this video is 3 years old) I’ve found tons of beginner and end game tutorials but I’m around level 35. So far I’ve only seen ppl adding to VIT after a touch to strength to equipped gear. I know end game I need 150 strength and 120 DEX to equip gear. When should I start adding points there ? Do I wait for a NM/Hell respec? Sorry I just don’t want to have 209 VIT and all a sudden need 200 points to add to DEX/Strength. Ty so much for your content !! Binge watching it atm!
Add the bulk of points to Vita and keep adding a little to Str+Dex as you acquire new gear. Always leave spare points, in case.

Don’t invest too much in lightening attacks. Some enemies and uniques are immune to lightning and you can screw yourself over if that happens. Learn an ice or fire bow skill to go along with your weapons.
or just avoid light imms / let ur merc deal w/ them

I am 99% sure that merc chance to summon a valkyrie has been taken out of Peace runeword.
Start out with Getting a Stealth at level 17 with Tal and Eth, then at level 29 get a Rhyme, Lore and Peace runeword and you can get through hell

Used this guide, except leveled from scratch in single player. Got into Hell and at lvl 75 now in just a few days. Awesome, thank you! Do you have any tips for how to deal with lightning immunes in late NM or Hell? My res is way too low for Hell and even with insight merc I'm just too squishy for most LI mobs. Trading isn't really an option on single player. Just keep farming NM Meph/Diablo/Baal until I get better gear? Or do you have any other budget tips? :D Thanks again!
For res u can use smoke runeword (nef + lum). It gives u +50% to all res. If u dont have runes run countless few times. U should keep running Mephisto, Diablo and Baal until u find better gear for u and your merc. U can also try to trade wand with lower resistance charges from merchants and put it on switch. Or u can make java/bow hybrid to deal with lighting imunne fakers :-)
best option is always to ignore the light immunes and run past them.
in SP Act3 that is not an option when you need the Organs.
you can try to reset the map for monstergroups with no light immune, gear your merc (also bug him) or spec 20 points into Valk and let her do the dirty work. (my Valk killed Hell Ancients on SP for me)
in Chaos and Ancients you can restet until there is no light immune boss or let Valk/Merc do the job slowly.
for resists Ancients Pledge in Shield (RalOrtTal), 3os helm (ideally a magical one with 10fhr or other mods) socketed with Ral/Ort/Thul that you farmed at NM countess. Gloves, Belt, Boots can always be shopped for up to 40 resist if you have the dedication.
obviously shop a Teleport charges staff for switch and with a Lower resist charges Wand you can break the immunities of a few regular light immune monsters (unfortunately not from bosses).

Charsi sells "boots of transportation" sounds silly 30% frw + 70-80% slower stamina drain... pop a vamp gaze on and you will only lose 1 stamina and will run literally forever// fun niche

how are you able to simulate players 1 vs players 8 ? is this pluggy? i reccomend usabattlenet, its a modded game online, xp is 1-75 10x, more unique drops etc, pretty dope af, ty for this video btw pretty cool, very helpful. ive noticed act 3 travincal, the sorceress guys right near the entrance, have some pretty strong item drops there. dropping alot of uniques per guy.

If you want a beautiful build I use to do. A spirit shield that had 35 fct. Arachnids. Mage fists war travs. Eth titans maras. Enigma. Off hands cta with a spirit. Merk with an infinity and eth fort. You will see these build soon once the game gets released

A magic find zon essentially. Jack her up with mf charms. She's great for all areas . Infinity drops all light res characters on your mark. So you can destroy everything in the game other then ubers
so as far as i know on d2r for gloves the + to skills can roll on non gold gloves (i just shopped a pair of +3jav/+15ar)
edit: just passed a pair of 20% ias gloves that werent gold too

With d2r just around the corner and me being a poe player never really played d2lod a ton would this be a viable first character/ladder character Im really drawn to the javazon mostly due to her insane clear and single target but not sure how well she would preform early ladder without infinity and other items to push her for farming hell
I did Sorc and Pal and did Amazon till Hell and in hell it feels like I hit a brick wall because of all the lightning immunes lol. Poison feels kinda slow with DOT (even with trangs gloves) and immolation arrow or freezing arrow takes too much mana and doesn't do a lot of damage. Which do you think should be the secondary: freezing, immolation, or poison javelin?
instead of going for a 2ndary , avoid the light imm monsters completely if u can & use decoy 2 lure them away .. if u hav 2 fight , use an a2 merc w/ might & a strong wep to kill the light imms

@@MrLuffy9131 shop for some chance of frostnova gear, use Valk and decoy to be able to run far enough to get the WPs and set up lots of TPs when it feels a little safe or you found a dead end. teleport charges staff works in the Spider Forest/Great Marsh/Flayer Jungle but is suicidal in the dungeons.
optionally you can then farm Lower Kurast super chests for better gear.
reset maps to get less light immunes (so that maybe only 1/3 monsters are light immune in the organ area)
lore is the way to go but +6 mana is okay but you don't need it + 2 is fine! 20 mana a cast and many cows dies = almost all mana back after the 3 throws, + you regain mana while hearding!
lore is betetr but ofc harder runes!

Infinity is the best way to reduce enemy res make it for your act 2 merc

what Shield runeword would you suggest if I found a frostraven ring and dont nee the cannot be frozen from the shield? (bnet and non- ladder)
on bnet ladder , spirit's always an option if u dont need rhyme
if ladder rws not available ( e.g. nl or sp ) , i wudnt recommend a shield rw .. id say to get a 3os shield & go tir+tir+tir : )

i tried this out and it works well. I can clear hell cows. Make sure to get them together into large packs and u will need a couple pots in between.
waste to max out synergies for fury because its only 1% each after already grabbing 20% with strike... better to improve your defense skills with those points or unbind yourself from razortail for even more survivability
Yeah, the synergies are totally worth it. Factor is the -resistance gear that you will acquire later.
