The trumpet part in "Aaneywala Pal" always mesmerises me and you spoke about it...The Reverse Snare you spoke about was in song "He Baba He Baba Miltey hain ikdin Re Baba" from Manzil Manzil. I yearn to listen more and more about pancham. Ashwin and team - thank you for bringing up certain nuances and the logic behind why they sounded so good and attractive to an untrained ear. One aspect that I believe is so under promoted and valued is RDs use of base guitar. I mean that has been the backbone of RDs songs. Tu tu hai wohi, dhadkan pal pal, pyar mein dil pe maar de, jeevan ke har mod pe are just a few that come to my mind right now. The list is endless. And for the record - I am probably the luckiest person who has heard Kuch Na Kaho in Kishore da’s voice. I distinctly remember that the moment I first heard the song I said this has to be a song made for Kishoreda. And the same night I heard the song in Kishore da’s voice in my dream. perhaps the only dream I have remembered in my life as I have thought about it again and again and again. Panchamda we miss you - is an understatement!

what u r talking Ashwin is very true and it was happened in that way only!! The musicians were really given freedom to play . This was the character he had imbibed from Dada Burman .They usually tell the situation/scene to the musician and then asked to play as per musician's visualizations and then it was fine tuned. This is reason why everybody could enjoy even today You all are fabulous musicians .God bless you!!
