The first season of the walking dead is amazing and this episode really shows it. the atmosphere in this episode was really depressing and sad and it’s something not a lot of games can achieve

The way the game did it, the player had no control over preventing the situation; but the bite could have been avoided by a more thorough, safe check of the garbage near the hat at 2:12:07. This way, it would have been a jumpscare.

I'm late to the party but for anyone playing now and runs into this problem here's what worked for me: I read on the Tell Tales Games forum that rewinding back to the battery chapter and NOT choosing "chicken" helps. I also let him die once just to be sure. Also, when you get back in with the 2nd tape, I did not open Logan's locker. Instead, I went into the nurse's office and looked at the 2nd tape and got the combination. After that, I went to Logan's locker and got the next tape, went back into the nurse's office to reveal some extra info about Molly.
Episode 4 was written unimaginably great. it was sooo good, the characters did have some downfall but they dealt with those shit and Lee being bitten was waste of the whole season 1. I wished Lee could have had plot armor since it would have been nice for him,gang and Clementine at the end to finish the whole Walking Dead seasons but that didn’t happen
I can here cause my game is bugged. I came back from getting the battery. The cutscene between molly and lee didn’t play and now I can’t do anything. I go over to christa. Nothing. Alley way. Nothing. The door where kenny is supposed to come out. Nothing.
I came here because I kept getting stuck at the nurses office part. The first few times I did it I went out to the auto shop, got the tape, and it respawned me back at the classroom door and I wasn't able to go back into the nurses office. So I restarted it again, and when I got to the auto shop for the tape I let the zombie that was there kill me, then tried again and got the tape, this time when I went back inside it spawned me at the right spot, but when I went to the door it still didn't let me in. I even tried taking one tape at a time, both at a time, not messing with anything, messing with everything, but its still not working. I really don't want to have to go through the entire episode again but Im not sure what else to do. If by any chance someone sees this and knows how to help, I'd really appreciate it
Damn I miss Carly throughout this whole episode. You have to wonder how the heck Lee never grew a pair and established himself akin to Rick with these obnoxious characters like Christs, Onid?, the elder man Kenny, Ben and that blonde girl. Clementine and Lee are seriously the only interesting characters and the only ones to feel any compassion for during this crisis. The game started off promising with engaging characters, but it just kinda died out literally at the end.
