One of the best movies I've seen this year. So happy to see this conversation happen.
One of the most amazing movies ever made. And how many women in the industry or media watching this and really trying to listen to this convo but keep getting perilously distracted by Mads smoking? Asking for a friend who has issues.🤦🏽♀️

I am enjoying the increase in actor - actor, screenwriter - screenwriter, director - director interviews in the past several years. They are so much more interesting than typical junket interviews.
First a Q/A with Guillermo Del Toro, now Rian Johnson? Filmmakers are really loving this movie, and rightfully so.
Always enjoy Rian’s interest in the writing process and how scenes come about.

The bathroom scene reminded me of this time I was with my ex in a bar in mexico and I walked to the bathroom and the 1beers and 2 shots of tecillia hit me like 4 beers and weed. I ended up passing out in the truck with my ex we were drugged woke up at the beach seeing my ex puking and thankfully his friend saw us and drove us back to his car shop. The wave in the bathroom was like this is not just alcohol then I stumbled alittle. I think when people drink there is alot of self actualization that happens alone in a bathroom stall. This movie I swear made me feel like a medium vodka buzz it was surreal. A couple scenes felt so genuine that at the end I was convinced he was having a midlife crisis and was not going to get back with his wife he seemed to change. I was not convinced he would actually change back into the sober guy he was before because of the power of intoxication.
Awesome movie! The ending=PERFECTION!
Great interview. Smart questions and interesting answers, which is rare as far as I've watched and listened to interviews with Mads and Thomas about this movie.
I feel so lucky to be able to watch this movie and understand it in Danish, there are so many nuances to the Danish language. Nonetheless the movie is marvelous, I'm so glad Thomas Vinterberg is getting recognition for it.

It was a wonderfully directed movie and the cast was fantastic! The whole Dogme movement really expanded films. Mads made Another Round personal.

I watched this movie the other day and my mom got bored 20 minutes in. It was so embarrassing. 🤦♀️ I finished it and really liked it.
I’m excited for mads as Grindelwald but he’s quite built. Wonder how that’s gonna work.

He took ballet when he was younger.
Professional dancer for 10 yrs and gymnastics growing up. Notice there are elements of Parkour in his dancing... that's the really amazing thing.
