Dear Lumion, The features that are actually needed : 1)Batch render videos 2)Virtual Reality Videos 3)Undo button, Ctrl+Z 4)Material editor with displacement map✓ 5)Interior lighting improvements 6) Ray tracing / RTX 7)Reflection on curved surfaces + more reflection planes 8) fix Flickers in animation 9)Parellel Projection The only one thing which is fixed is given a ✓ mark. Others are all still pending
I don't understand why Lumion can't add the most awaiting feature of importing camera tracking data also? Just due to this drawback, users are being attracted to a game engine (unreal)!
@@kiransurwade3576 bro, camera import is not that important for architects. Lumion is aimed at architects. Cg artists can use unreal engine or Vray anyways. So I don't think that's a priority for the lumion team. In the same way, they don't support complex animations from 3ds max or similar ones coz that's not a necessity for architects. The features above are the ones that are actually needed for architects.
This is a feature that needs to be added to Lumion. Just to get the lighting even somewhat realistic is such a headache this way. Especially when time has been spent on a scene already created in Lumion. Our company paused on VR during the height of the pandemic but is ready to move that direction again and if this is how we are going to achieve it in Lumion we may need to start looking at other software.
Yeah. Too complicated. Too many steps. Too many tweaks. Love Lumion but It is falling behind in the VR front. Should be a call to developers to put this on the top of the list.
Also falling behind in pricing too. Just look at the twinmotion XD. I dont mind giving up a little bit of quality(which can be tweaked in photoshop anyways) for getting TM for $250
this is so weird.. so Lumion is showing how to do VR with other software? just highlights the lacking features inside Lumion.. or at least how poor the my lumion / vr experience is that free software does it better.. if its so easy to build and share VR software for free, I would except Lumion to incorporate into its software. sending users to other software doesn't make business sense. p.s. I have no interest in VR, at this point its just a gimmick and most clients don't want it..
Just over complicated.... unless I am missing something there is no connection to lumion whatsoever... It's like Mercedes making bike riding tutorial...

@@aghilmohammed824 but there are majority of film makers willing to have such realistic output in less time, it will make their projects within time !
@@kiransurwade3576 but bro, they are currently focusing on architects
I've had reflections on curved copper roofs. Are you referring to the included assets not showing reflections where there is curvature
We need it to be built in the lumion.. Just as Twinmotion or unreal engine
I didn't see a relationship with lumion!

cool tutorial on how to use a missing feature in Lumion using free tools instead
i learned so much, thank you
I really can't imagine there is no handier option than all this back and forth by now...
Do I have to bake in the lighting and stuff in sketchfab still if I'm importing a model from Softplan 2020 ?

We need also to make possible to undo more than ten at least.. This is very necessary

"I have no interest in VR"
did you ever walked inside your own created enviroment?
