Todays vlog was a beast to edit, but we got it done. we revisited our pasta making journey and blended it with our fresh milled flour journey and created a masterpiece if I do say so myself. We even learned a new term... scratch baddie! We also dipped back into last weeks video and we preserved 36 farm fresh eggs homegirl homestead style!

A Couple of weeks ago when you talked about the hand grater. I thought you meant the hand held box grater🙃. Thats what I cut my fingers up up on. Thats why I use my food processor w/ the grating blade for everything, I ususlly grate all of my large blocks of cheese I buy from Costco or Bjays when I get home all at once & just put in small ziplocks & freeze them. But, the one you have would be good for me if I'm just grating a liitle bit of something....

I found the info I mentioned last week about removing your canning jars from the canner immediately. It is because the jars need to cool down as fast as possible to keep your food from developing FLAT SOUR, which is SPOILAGE caused by MICROBIAL SPORES 🥺.
Glad to see you have the freeze dyer tray covers. I was going to ask you last week if you had them. But, I forgot🙃...
I have seen on some homesteader videos that they have constructed a hoop like structure from mesh wire mesh w/ a wood frame & door. That they grow their food in to keep them safe from birds, rabbits, dogs, etc, etc. I have also seen those little DIY green houses for the back yard. that keeps your produce safe from everything....

Heyyy!!!! Omg please make pasta one day!!! It’s so rewarding! The presto doesn’t let you take them out until they have cooled and the pressure is released! But I will keep that in mind! I’m gonna have to get something because I want some kind of harvest before the birds get it! Thank you soooo much! I am not growing potatoes but I definitely will! ❤️
