I still remember the time I kinda meet him at the B.P. gas station in Wexford. I was just standing there pumping my gas, then up pulls a nice Range Rover, and who gets out?....CUTCH. I gave him a head nod and said, "great season Cutch". He smiled and said "thank you". Pittsburgh will miss you Cutch!
3 years late but... I lived in Milwaukee and the buccos were in town. Whenever they were in town they’d stay at a hotel downtown called the phister. Me and my dad went wearing pirates jerseys, the only ones there in Pittsburgh gear as everyone else was a brewers fan. We sat at a table to eat. We saw Clint hurdle getting a coffee. That was cool. Then a man came in and sat at the table next to us. The man was Andrew mccutchens dad. Then another man walks in and sits right next to us. The man was Andrew mccutchen. I was wearing his jersey I was hyped. Long story short the moment I stood up to get an autograph the waitress kicked us out for potentially disturbing him :( lol.
Don't ever bother having hope for this team again, man. Find another team to support, or stop watching baseball altogether. You'll be a happier person for it.
always wanted cutch to join the giants but i never thought it would happen. easily my favorite player outside of the giants. just a class act. so much swag too
Crick will be a force in the bullpen and the young OF you received is underrated. Solid return for Cutch. As a Giants fan I can promise you he was already so well respected by our real fans. Forget the bandwagon folk, they don't count or matter. I bought a "Get Bucc'd Up" McCutchen shirt years ago. He was always my sons "favorite player not on the Giants." He is a great guy on and off field and will be well appreciated and respected in SF. Thank you Pittsburgh. I hope the guys you got in return make it a win win for both franchises.
Crick hasn't done much good for the Pirates at all, I wish I could say that he has, but he hasn't. Haven't seen much of the other guy though. I'm glad that you and your son like Cutch and those are very kind words, you'll enjoy watching him more now that he plays for San Francisco.
i always forget he won the nl mvp, but it checks out. He terrorized my cardinals from 2011-2015, class act and legend, great to see him back on the pirates too, must be awesome for yall
Goodbye Cutch! I'm sure gonna miss you! Loved watching you play baseball for the Pirates. You made me believe again! Godspeed to you and your family! 💔💕
Nice video. Cutch is a class act on and off the field, and I've been a fan of his for years. Felt bad for him (and Pirates fans) when the Pirates off'd him to the Giants. I'm a Yankees fan, so I enjoyed having him to watch for the last 25 games or so this year. I pretty much figured he'd be leaving, sad to see him go, but I'm glad he signed for a nice gig to probably close out a great career. He deserves it. Pittsburgh should be proud. (my maternal grandfather was a huge Bucs fan - he always called them the Bucs - I remember him listening to every game on the radio in the 60s and 70s)
One of the best “plays” that you overlooked was his interaction with kids. When he gave his batting gloves to the boy in the outfield. That’s what also made him great!!!
I was really 7-8 years old loving life with Cutch, Neil, Pedro, Young Cole, AJ Burnett, Josh Harrison, The Fort, Melancon (found a site about the “Shark Tank” and cried more because that memory was los) and now I’m a junior. just wow. 😞🥲
Worked at a restaurant in the north hills, waited on cutch and his fiancée at the time. Dude paid for all the tables on the patio with tips of over 20%. Just an overall great human being. Too bad bob nutting has no soul. He should’ve been a pirate his entire career.
What about the nationally televised game at Great American where he hit a homer late in the game and another in extras to tie and then beat the Reds? He literally carried the team to victory that night.
I hope he retires a pirate, he did so much for this franchise. In spite of ownership unwilling to spend money, he was the head of the first pirates playoff team in 20+ years
Even as a Cubs fan, I've always had a weird affinity with the pirates, and cutch. For a while there, he just terrorized us in center catching everything.
You best believe I was wearing this damn necklaces because Cutch was wearing them. I will forever miss him and never forgive the front office for not doing better while he was here
Always liked and respected Cutch Just hated to see him do his work against the Phillies Every time I was in Pittsburgh to see a game ; the pirates were on a roll Just wish Pittsburgh could afford some high price players and have a go of it every year
*To MCCutchen, I met him in Pittsburgh at Urban Air and He is not that nice in his outside life, I said hi and said can I get a picture and he didn’t let me! So I walked away and I came back again before I left and I asked him again and he said Once One picture is taken everyone wants a picture, so I was really disappointed 😔 Be nice to your fans man. That’s not cool.*
It'll really be a great moment on the day when the damn team goes the way of the Expos and ceases to be a blight on the city. What a great day that will be.
I still remember the time I kinda meet him at the B.P. gas station in Wexford. I was just standing there pumping my gas, then up pulls a nice Range Rover, and who gets out?....CUTCH.

Pittsburgh will miss you Cutch!
That is awesome!!! I've been to Wexford a few times and wished I was that lucky.
Did you get a photo with him?
He lives here now. It be so cool to run into him in the off season

@@lawrence142002 damn bro cmon😂but hey 4 years later and you are right
Welcome home, King.
I will always be a fan of you Pirates or not. Cutch4life

He's back! As a Pirates fan, this warms my soul so much!
As a pirates fan I know if he was on the Yankees or Astor's, any decent team, he would be known as one of if not the greatest player of the decade.
That's now how I feel about ke'Bryan Hayes. He would be so popular if he play for a team like the yankee's or Dodgers

sportsygirl8 Crick was doing good
Bryan Reynolds really did turn out to be good. Maybe he'll be our next Cutch
You were right
Pretty accurate about Reynolds
HES BACK!!

Amen. Def happy to have him back. Much appreciated comment from your shore. Classy.
Cutch was my childhood. My favorite baseball player of all time. He was so fun to watch. 🙌🏽
Ive got news for you
Cant wait to see him again welcome home cutch
Who's here after the Pirates re-signed Cutch?
Yessir
And he’s baccccckk
Guess who’s back?!?!?
Welcome home, Cutch! Stay awhile.
Goodbye Cutch! I'm sure gonna miss you! Loved watching you play baseball for the Pirates. You made me believe again! Godspeed to you and your family! 💔💕
He's baaaaaaack
The Andrew McCutchen one-day retirement contract with the Pirates is gonna have me all in my feelings
Looks like you got the bonus 1 year package
I must say, Andrew McCutchen is one of my favorite MLB players.
Im not crying

Some of the best moments of my baseball viewing life, thank you Cutch!!!
A great player who I fear will not be remembered like he deserves.
So cool to see him back in a pirates jersey. Glad he started off well. Hope he keeps it up this year
I gonna miss him
0:56 the camera guy got his own uniform 😂
Welcome back to the Burgh. Can’t wait to see you play in Atl in sept. Already have my tickets.
I loved his long hair. He looked so sick
Injecting this into my veins. Welcome home, Cutch!
Best Pirate of the last 30 years
July 11th 2015. The greatest walk off in Pirates history. (well, besides Maz lol)
Bring Cutch back to Pittsburgh!!!
CRAZ-E DOG we need a miracle for the hat to to happen
+CRAZ=E DOG Could happen when Cutch is in his last year of MLB.
Ive got news man

Marte coming up later and being our 2nd best player
Being from Pittsburgh I can assure you, Cutch was BELOVED by our city, he brought back baseball.
Happy Belated Birthday to Andrew 10-10-86.FL
He’s back home

ANDREW McCUTCHEN = Better than the best. Because he is the best!
One of my all-time favorite pirates
Love Cutch in mlb the show as well
We miss you cutch
Watching this after going off with him in the show 22
my softball number is 22 because of him, i'll always miss him as a pirate
Ive got news for you
“That’s the 420 corner there, way way up in the seats”
He is the only player that reminded me of Ken Griffey Jr. and he was such a fun player to watch
What about the nationally televised game at Great American where he hit a homer late in the game and another in extras to tie and then beat the Reds? He literally carried the team to victory that night.

He hit his first homer off Liriano, who he would end up playing with from 2013-16.
can you say 4 rings in 7 year's .
I wish he would continue his career with Pittsburgh.
He should’ve been a pirate for life😢
Rip cutch 😢
Welcome to the Brew Crew
Would have been better without the music.
You best believe I was wearing this damn necklaces because Cutch was wearing them. I will forever miss him and never forgive the front office for not doing better while he was here
Dude could play in the NBA, NFL or MLB. He's the closest athlete to Bo or Deion we've seen in 30 yrs
Aaron judge?
Anyone else notice Barry Bonds hog the award from the old man at 3:48 ?
Always liked and respected Cutch
Just hated to see him do his work against the Phillies

WHY WOULD THEY GET RID OF THE FACE OF THE PIRATES CMON WHAT ARE THEY THINKING WHOEVER DID THAT IS A PIECE OF 💩 RIP PIRATES 2018 season

But what about greg gibson the home plate umpire
any other phillies fans here after he tore his acl😢
No way I'm watching a video with that many fkg commericals!
“420 corner”
Phillies 🤗
Why is this man constantly shitting on the cardinals
Should’ve never traded him
He was out of his prime and the pirates needed to rebuild
The Pirates were a bunch of idiots to get rid of him!!!
It'll really be a great moment on the day when the damn team goes the way of the Expos and ceases to be a blight on the city. What a great day that will be.
Lawrence Watson wtf????
I think I’m the only pirate fan okay with this trade
Sam Weightman: I was okay with trading him, but not for what we got in return!
ThePittsburghKid22 I forgot, what did we give you for him?
Joaquin McGee: Kyle Krick and Bryan Reynolds
ThePittsburghKid22 You are a disgrace to Pirates fans
Jlixer: me?
Cutch is back bros
