    few tips though. If Shah Rukh dies don't click the window. Their loyalty only resets if you click the button. So you can usually get your diplomats back and RM them without having to waste your prestige. I also exploit mil in my provinces and hire mercs to get the missions tarted that gives you claims in India and that's usally my first war so that the AE in India can cool down while I assault Ajam. Also if you leave one rival slot open until December you can rival Ajam and get PP from getting your cores back.

    There is one major thing that you missed in this guide. Do not give out three rivals at the start! If you wait a month or two, you can rival Ajam, and reconquering lands gives you considerably more power projection (because you can take so much). The difference between having 30 power projection versus 85+ at the start of the game is massive.

    • @teekoo777

    Minor tip when it comes to annexing your first three vassals: They have to be under 50% liberty desire when you click the annex vassal button to start the process, but as long as the annexation is at 100% completion or above, when the month ticks over they'll be annexed, even if they became disloyal during that final month. Basically you can save the prestige from placating and the time spent improving relations if you click the annex vassal button on all of them first, *then* assign the amirs integration policy, then unpause and let the month tick, because it'll still annex them.

  • @DaeLh

    In my opinion you should go west before you conquer India and finish the Timurids mission tree that gives a lot of great bonuses (Including CCR for 25 years). If you conquer all of the Persian culture group before you go after India to get cheaper advisors and generate more monarch points. Also, if you go west early you can cut of the Ottomans from taking any Mamluks land by vassal feeding Syria, cut them of from Persian culture group and cut them off from the Caucasus (which will increase your trade power in Persia). You will still be able to conquer india before 1600 if you spend the 1400s waring in the west. It might also be a good idea to go north and get a couple of vassals up there (Kazakh, Sibir, Kazan) to cut Russia of from conquering and colonizing. Its just an easier world conquest later on if you take these two steps early. In my latest Mughal run I had all of Persian culture, Syria and Iraq as vassals, all of Arabia and and cut of Russia from colonizing before 1500, if you go for one faith also you wanna go for the horn of africa and west africa asap for extra missionaries. Anyways good video as usual

    Another thing to note when playing Mughals is the subject of Deccan. You can pop them out by following the missions and really should. They are one of the best subjects in the game. When I played a world conquest as Mughals I kept Deccan around for the whole game, only annexing them at the end for the achievement.

    • @psychic_beth
      @psychic_beth 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you full core all of Deccan's land (cheap because you have lots of CCR) then you can just instant annex them 10 years after releasing them.

    Thanks for yet another great video! Your facecam set-up looks a lot better now! :)
    I have a few extra tips however I would like to add to your story. First, get the collecting merchant from Hormuz and let him transfer in Basra towards Persia. This can easily give you +1 extra ducat each month. Also, make sure to set your focus on military from the start. Once you reach tech 4 and Shah Rukh dies, all subjects are still loyal, except for Transoxiana which can be placated once to get them under 50% again. Other then that, great video, keep em coming!

  • @Megas_Alexandros

    I love the Mughals, and this guide is good, but there are some things that could be improved upon. First, I personally abandon Sistan in the beginning because you will never integrate them in time for the juicy 20% ccr in timurid missions before you form Mughals. Second, I don’t usually care AT ALL about the Middle East until my Indian conquests are over (usually all of India by ~1550). From here, there are various different ways to play the Mughals. You can go for WC (did it once would not recommend), or you can go for insanely powerful ridiculously rich tall unified India. For this, the ideas Admin - Eco - Qual work pretty well (and anything tall like trade after it). From here, enjoy being an absolute juggernaut of a nation who has all the necessary power to establish British fast food takeout chains in Fatehpur Sikri (or Delhi).

      It's not that hard at all. Even if you leave them for last, it's just -120, you can improve up to +200 and there's other modifiers such as gifts, subsidies, influence nation, royal marriage. If you want to annex them as soon as possible though, just annex your 2 strongest vassals first so the modifier is -60. Improve until the other 3 are over 190 THEN start annexing the last three. Even if your opinion drops after Afghan and Khorason or whoever is gone it doesn't stop the integration process

    5:03 if you are going to full annex anyway then you should pick the province that has the highest warscore cost as it reduces the cost of that province. Marketplaces are basically never worth building as you can gain trade power by just expanding and consolidating nodes. 4% interest loans cost 0.33 a month in interest so taking them to build buildings is a bad idea unless they make at least 0.33 a month. You would literally make more money if you just never took the loan.

    @TheRewasder97 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Another fun thing is that you can "form" the Minghals. Once you form Mughals, you can go east to China and get one of their Confucian provinces. Spawn Confucian rebels, let them convert your nation, accept demands, and now you can keep the culture acceptance while also assimilating religions. You can even take the mandate of heaven and still keep the culture assimilation.
    Although for this I prefer doing a custom nation. Culture Afgan and religion Muslim, having Delhi and some provinces around and you can form Mughals right of the back. Conquer around India to get strong to take on Ming and you're golden. Of course, you don't gain that much time and Mughals are strong already going the Timurid route, but this allows you to have custom ideas and having less territory far away for the Confucian rebelion to convert.

  • @henryglennon3864
    @henryglennon3864 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I know to a lot of people this is sub-optimal, but I like to blast west before forming Mughals. You can easily completely tie up the Persia trade node and its resources, unite the Persian culture group for the bonus, and if you're fast, release Syria from QQ, core reconquer from Mamluks, thus neutering the Ottomans for good. There's really no particular reason to rush India, since no one there can possibly slow down your expansion, or pose a major threat in a coalition the way the Ottomans can.

    It would be helpful if you slowed down just a little bit when choosing the estate privileges. I have difficulty following exactly what privileges you're choosing and why you're choosing them.

      I used to do the same lel, most of these guide guys just rush over this phase. Now that I know more about the game, I feel that I can tell you, it doesn't matter as much as you may think it does, except in a few cases. Most people have their own way to pick privileges at the start of the game, all you have to do is get familiar with them and get a good feel of how each of them would impact your current game. +1 mana are a given if you are a small, one state/province nation since the autonomy gain won't affect you for example

    why do you go for the spy network on baluchistan into war. You should declare on Uzbek to reclaim the Transoxiana cores. Bonus it makes them more loyal to you. you could use that time to make everyone loyal. and if you need a third war you can do the spy network during the Uzbek war. this also cripple's your northern threat. you should also integrate the ones you don't have cores on first. then you get the free annexes right after and have no subjects.

    Flipping to Hinduism is strong as well as Mughals. You keep Mughal Diwan (lose Indian Sultanate though). The main draw is monuments you can build. There is a monument in Varanasi (i believe) that allows for even more CCR and AE reduction. I played in a previous patch that allowed for Hindu nations to get Buddha as a deity with an exploit. With this you can build pretty much every SEA monument as well, with some truly insane bonuses along with mughal diwan accepting cultures. I was fairly easily able to get a one-faith WC.

    • @NasMau

      Regional names happens when the capital of the nation doesn't have a direct route to that region. In this case, Punjab was blocking the way in between Persia and Delhi, the new Mughal capital.

      I've been struggling with this as well, but when I tried breaking vassalization with Sistan at day one it seemed to do the trick. As someone else pointed out it's better to just conquer them so we can get the ccr from the Timurid missions and form the Mughals faster.
