So relatable. Back when I was younger, last day of 5th grade I literally held in my tears, trying not to embarrass myself infront of the class. It was the last 5 minutes of elementary school, and I said my last goodbyes to my teachers and friends. The worst part was that I wasn’t going to the same intermediate school my friends were going to, since I moved.

It's been 1 year and 11 months now, truly am sad and will miss it. I enjoyed it as much as I possibly could have, and could I have done a lot of things better? Definitely, but am I fine with the way things went? For sure. Will I miss it? 100%. When I was in 10th grade, I really came to love the school I went to and I realized... two more years and it's truly gone. I looked at most of my classmates and teachers as one big family, but eventually we would all be separated, replaced by other students who might feel the same way as I did, but dang. You can never go back, you can never go to another school after that, you just live on. I will cherish the memories and things that happened that have made me stronger. So long, school. (College isn't the same as well, so I don't count it, even though I don't go)
I cried when the first term was over, because at the end of the term my favourite teacher in the world left. I felt like out of all the teachers I’d had, he was the only one who understood me. Once he accidentally yelled at me for drawing on my table as a dare, then the next day he apologised to me, giving me a hug. He was loved by many in the school, and on the last day everyone was trying to get him to sign their hats. I missed the bus, determined to get his writing so I would remember him. When I got to him, he signed my hat, looked me in the eye, hugged me in front of everyone and whispered two last parting words in my ear; “be amazing” When I got to the bus line, I barely made it, and I kept replaying my teachers words over and over in my head. I suddenly broke down into tears, knowing I would never see him again. My best friend hugged me, and we sat on the back of the bus. Then she simply handed me a Texter, and I immediately wrote on the back of the bus seat: “I love Mr T”

ATTENTION 5TH GRADERS. Heres some tips for middle school! Join a club or activity Make alot of friends (But ditch the toxic people) Since you’re in middle school, you might be overwhelmed because of the exploding population happening. There are 3 - 6 elementary schools mixed together but that means the more people, the more chance you are to be friends with someone. Try to stick with your elementary school friends because 60% of the time end up going a different way once you get to middle school. Dont have a fake personality and do what you like. Be nice to everyone because you will do alot of group projects in middle school and if you’re nice to everyone, it will be easier to talk to them during the group work. Try your best in 6th grade because its going to be your easiest year. (But also have fun) Start adding skincare because acne is intense at this age. So start doing research about skin products or else you will be doomed in the future Drink alot of water and sleep early.

I sadly never got to really experience that. I was virtual during 5th grade. I went to school on the last two days of school, but on the inside I felt, empty. I didnt know to be happy or sad. But everyone in class looked the same. I wish that my last day of elementary school didnt end like that. and in a year, my last year of middle school will arrive, and I will ball my eyes out knowing that I am almost done with it all, only a few years left. It was crazy for me bro. All the 5th graders ran through the hallways high fiving the younger graders. And then the final bell rang and it hit me. I was no longer a elementary kid anymore. Going from the leaders of the school to the lowest in middle school. It was a crazy feeling.
Bro the worst part is that our fifth grade teacher was the nicest teacher in the school she always had faith in us no matter how many kids disobeyed here or made trouble. No matter whether I forgot an assignment even after leaving fifth grade I still see her in the school and most of my friends who were with me at that time usually try to at least meet our former teacher.
I remember that day. All of the teachers ive ever had standing there. The principal looking proud at all of us. My parents crying. When i got into the car that day, i thought “this is it. Ill never be here again.” When i got home after that, i stared off into the distance for hours thinking about the memories ive had there.
Today was my last day of middle school and man do I wish i cherished those last few days more then I did. I didn’t realize how special and how difficult it was going to be to leaving that building, the teachers, and my friends behind. So if you take any advice from a stranger take this, cherish the moments in 8th grade cause one day they all just become memories and you can’t go back and change it. Say goodbye to everyone, tell your crush you like them, HAVE FUN the teachers don’t really care on the last day but don’t take it for granted please!!
Very relatable. Elementary carried my childhood even though I had ups and downs, I was crying hard once I graduated, all the memories I created and had in my elementary, a better thing was that there was no fights, people not cursing at each other or being racist, just peace, but until I step foot in middle school, everything changed really fast, now in August high school starts for me and it’s crazy how time flies pretty fast 😭

I graduate 8th grade in a few weeks. I’m actually really sad about it. 4th and 5th grade were my best years. My 4th grade teacher was super nice and she gave everyone a pop it, and Burts Bees chapstick. Now she works at my middle school, But she hasn't been there for a while. Her baby is in the hospital. She is on life support. She has a rare heart disease. I recently just completed year 7 and i must say, elementary is so much better than middle school, some tips are try and stay out of trouble and vibe with your friends quietly, get used to the rules being stricter because you can get detentions frequently and dont leave work to the last day, as repetitive as it sounds, studying or completing work earlier is so much better than waiting. One last thing is have a motivation, what do you want to achieve? Sure have fun with friends when you’ve finished with most of the important school things but also remember to try and get most the work done first. This could get you closer to your goal. I know I started spiraling after moving to a new town that year, and one year later, I moved again. Two years in a row I lost everything, and 6th grade was really my down point. It only got worse from there. I used to joke about depression, but I can't do that anymore. I'm depressed. A lot of people might think that it's not that bad, and doesn't affect you, but it does. I don't have the will to talk to people, I don't move, and I never made friends. Every part of my life has been worse and worse since 5th grade, which is crazy since I was so young. People always acted like I had no problems because I was a kid, but that's not true. I never did anything about my sadness, and now it has festered into depression. It's life altering.

on the last day of primary school (year 6) Since I was school captain I had to say a speech which I tried so hard not to cry while saying it infront of hundreds of people. The whole year 5,6 were my friends and I had a good bond with the teachers. Now most of the teachers left and the school just feels like a memory. Most of my primary school friends broke contact with me and since my school had year 1,2 together, year 3/4 together and 5/6 together most of the kids I had in my year 5 class were in year 6 and they have grown up now and I miss them all so much. Time flies by fast, I also have plenty of photos with me and my class when we had excursions:)

Since you’re in middle school, you might be overwhelmed because of the exploding population happening. There are 3 - 6 elementary schools mixed together but that means the more people, the more chance you are to be friends with someone.
Try to stick with your elementary school friends because 60% of the time end up going a different way once you get to middle school.
Dont have a fake personality and do what you like.
Be nice to everyone because you will do alot of group projects in middle school and if you’re nice to everyone, it will be easier to talk to them during the group work.
Try your best in 6th grade because its going to be your easiest year. (But also have fun)
Start adding skincare because acne is intense at this age. So start doing research about skin products or else you will be doomed in the future
Drink alot of water and sleep early.

Bro the worst part is that our fifth grade teacher was the nicest teacher in the school she always had faith in us no matter how many kids disobeyed here or made trouble. Very relatable. Elementary carried my childhood even though I had ups and downs, I was crying hard once I graduated, all the memories I created and had in my elementary, a better thing was that there was no fights, people not cursing at each other or being racist, just peace, but until I step foot in middle school, everything changed really fast, now in August high school starts for me and it’s crazy how time flies pretty fast 😭

I recently just completed year 7 and i must say, elementary is so much better than middle school, some tips are try and stay out of trouble and vibe with your friends quietly, get used to the rules being stricter because you can get detentions frequently and dont leave work to the last day, as repetitive as it sounds, studying or completing work earlier is so much better than waiting. One last thing is have a motivation, what do you want to achieve? Sure have fun with friends when you’ve finished with most of the important school things but also remember to try and get most the work done first. This could get you closer to your goal. @@queurki3701 Well since your little, I have some advice i can give you, since whoever is teasing you, it can also be in fun way but if you feel like its bothering you. don't be afraid to ask them to "please stop" nicely, remember we are all people, if something bothers you, you can always reach out to someone you trust who can help you out. And I have my final advice, I know it's off topic but here you go: Remember to take care of yourself and people around you, and help ones in need if you can.

What hit me was last day of middle school. Last day of high school will be worse but god did I hate elementary school, I felt so relieved to leave elementary school. Also have any of you guys had a fifth grade teacher that said will get you ready and mature for middle school? Mine did and forced us to dance to kids bop

to be honest, ill admit that elementary graduation was a pain to be apart of. none of my friends had phones and we separated..
As a former 5th grader, our graduation was today…they had a 15 minute video to show us. It included videos and memories from camp and so much more. Almost all of the students were crying and me and my friends we’re all crying. So it hits hard,

I’m still in summer school in 5th grade but on the last day of fifth grade every single class of my school gave us goodbye messages, and it was so cute. After all the messages that we received we were at the gate about to leave. Some of us were crying but I was the one confused. I had a spray bottle of water a sprayed it on my eyes.😂 I was going to a different middle school away from my best friends for 3 years. At least I have something to contact them. I will keep remembering this video as it reminds me my friends. See you soon guys.
I graduated yesterday. Everyone was bawling as we said goodbye to each other, and It was extremely sad. Our school ranged from K-6 and the ride back home flooded me with memories that I made throughout those years. Goodbye my classmates, I hope you guys live a good life.

It's the last day of fith grade and we just left elementary forever.. I was doing okay a second ago but then I saw this and now I'm seriously crying in my bathroom.. for whoever is still in elementary school enjoy it while it lasts..
7th and 8th hit hard too. I lost a ring of friends at the end of 7th because they were 8th graders and my 7th grade friends, I don’t really remember. I just remember us getting on call and saying that we didn’t enjoy the last day because of a multitude of reasons.

This is why you should enjoy Elementary school. Sometimes, you have fun, and you're loved at that place. Sometimes, you aren't. You may say, "Ohhh, I hate school! Blah blah blah." But, in Elementary school, you want good memories. It's the best school you could go to. Even when I was at the last day of Elementary school, I held back my tears, dang. It looked like I was in the alley way last night on that last day. Remember kids, Elementary school is the definition of *dang memories.*

I can relate so much. There are a few months left before the schools close for summer break. Im in 6th grade and to be honest all these years I was at that school were awesome. Ive known my classmates for 8 years. And i still remember my first day at that school in kindergarten. I was so scared thinking that I wouldn’t make any friends or even fit in. But I was wrong. We are all gonna cry so much. We were together since we were toddlers. Everyone can relate and if this is ur last day of school Im so sorry. I know how u feel leaving everything behind.

those were still the better days. Wouldn't call my 5th grade good, but I can't really remember it either. I know I started spiraling after moving to a new town that year, and one year later, I moved again. Two years in a row I lost everything, and 6th grade was really my down point. It only got worse from there. I used to joke about depression, but I can't do that anymore. I'm depressed. A lot of people might think that it's not that bad, and doesn't affect you, but it does. I don't have the will to talk to people, I don't move, and I never made friends. Every part of my life has been worse and worse since 5th grade, which is crazy since I was so young. People always acted like I had no problems because I was a kid, but that's not true. I never did anything about my sadness, and now it has festered into depression. It's life altering.
Very true I actually cried so hard some people (mostly boys) asked why are you crying, they were excited to leave but for me to go to middle school was absolute hell
on the last day of primary school (year 6) Since I was school captain I had to say a speech which I tried so hard not to cry while saying it infront of hundreds of people. The whole year 5,6 were my friends and I had a good bond with the teachers. Now most of the teachers left and the school just feels like a memory. Most of my primary school friends broke contact with me and since my school had year 1,2 together, year 3/4 together and 5/6 together most of the kids I had in my year 5 class were in year 6 and they have grown up now and I miss them all so much. Time flies by fast, I also have plenty of photos with me and my class when we had excursions:)

Literally me 2 days ago getting my promotion ceremony.. I was crying the entire time bc I missed elementary so much, it was hard for me to face the fact that I need to move on to the next chapter of my life.
