so did I for Black Friday. I bought a few 6,800mah 120c 6s batteries for my Kraton 6s, but I’m wondering if I should have gone with 5,000mah to save on weight.
Great honest review. Up until this point I wasn't sure if the other reviews were honest. With your facts and details it a tremendous help. I have recently bought the China hobby line 4s 9500. They have been terrible and almost blew up my kraton 8s. I am waiting on the second replacement in 2 months. I do not recommend China hobby line. Thank you for your honest review. Great video!!
I appreciate that! The case on these have cracked now and they're getting a little puffy. Testing Zeee and Ovonic now and they are performing very well.
Gudday M8...Are you going to do a review on the new Enduro builders kit? I have ordered one and have to wait a few weeks before it arrives...I haven't seen much online about it yet. Watching from New Zealand...love your videos...keep up the good work!
I need help please! I am gonna buy 2 of the 3S 100c 8000mAh for my Kraton 6S, but how do I charge safely? Also, do they cut off when they get at 3.3V? I am new to non Traxxas LiPo’s. Thank you guys! 👍👍
Are there any planned crashes? =) Anyway, i use zop power and found them to hold up very good, granted i dont bash like you guys. But my first Gens ace have a bad cell, not many runs in it and always balance charged and store discharge if left with juice in it.
I bought 2 gens ace bashing series 3s 120c batteries to run 6s on my maxx I jumped it about 12 to 15 feet high and it nose dived. I had 3 battery straps holding them in and the straps came loose the batteries slid forward and busted the case off of them both also had them velcroed together and this happened on the 3rd run with those batteries. You talk about heartbreaking $170 down the drain and only got 3 charges on them.
Yeah, battery straps aren't going to hold this much mass properly. You'd think ARRMA and Traxxas would learn from Losi/Tekno/Team Associated racing buggies and how those batteries are held down. There's a reason any good race buggy has a bar/plate system for clamping down and holding the battery (see RC10 B6.3 for example). A bit of a pain to swap the battery out, but far safer system for keeping the battery in place esp. heavy batteries like these.
@@shadow7037932 yeah if I would’ve been smart I would’ve ordered just one 6s battery but I didn’t know they had those kind of batteries in 6s till after I bought the 2 3s batteries I couldn’t find them.
I have the 8000 mah 3 cell great battery, what I didn't understand is the bashing series is a little cheaper also than other batteries of that size and c rating.
i bought x2 gens ace lipos about 4 months ago (5500mah 2s), one is slower with less run time than my 10 year old nanotech lipos and the other is a lot slower with even less runtime than my 10 year old nanotech lipos, i recently bought x2 more nanotech lipos (6000mah 2s) witch are a lot faster with a lot more runtime than my old nanotech's and new gens ace lipos
that's great, I picked up a 6s 6800mah 120c one in the hopes of getting some longer run times and a bit more punch. Thanks.
No problem 👍

Great review today Francis, I want to try one soon, maybe even the 15000. Could last a whole weekend, possibly.
Yeah, just got some too, although they are soft packs.

Our bashing series is aimed to a high cost-effective series~

What is the run time for those on average?
Typically about 30 minutes for a fast car application
