- Roadhog Lofts has quickly gained a reputation for providing quality young birds for racing. In this latest video we take you to meet the owners, David and John Zerk. We look at their impressive collection of Heremans-Ceuster, Geerinckx and Gaston van de Wouwer racing pigeons.

Brilliant Video Carwyn. We only handled about 10-15 when we came down but from the birds we handled. 👌💯

@@ericarrozal3324 I'd follow the feeding plan for whatever brand of corn you're using and stick to your routine of loft flying and feeding, etc. Pigeons are creatures of habit and so feeding and exercising the birds at the same time keeps the stress levels down which we feel is very important. Keep them fit and healthy and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Atb, Carwyn

Hello carwyn it's about time you put some video on.where is roadhouse and premier stud.i saw a video with Derick Nicolle and Tony Cowan is this the Spencer and Nicolle when I raced in the early 90s
Hi Chris. Life has took over a bit over the last few months but I'll be uploading a video within the next week. Roadhog Lifts is in Cardiff and Premier Stud is now in Barry but I believe that Derek may be relocating the stud a short distance away in the near future. I was equally impressed with both lofts.

Hi Carwyn, thanks for all the great content on your channel really top notch. Could I request a video on the best way to get started in pigeon racing for a novice, I'm getting back in to the sport after a 20 year absence keeping pigeons in my teens and could do with some advice do's and dont's. Keep up the great content.

Hi Clive, great to hear that you're restarting in the sport. We vaccinate our young birds around a month before we start racing them in July. It's personal preference as some fanciers do it when parting the ybs. We then vaccinate all our birds at the end of October ready for the following year. Good luck for 2023 👍.

h carwyn can u help me i started in pigeon in the 8os in the cosmo club i ad to give them up 5 years ago i give all my birds away clock every thing i move now and council will only let me have a 10x8 shed iv no room for stock im hoping to build the shed in next few weeks sore u visit to roadhog lofts was hoping u can help help me have u got a number for dave and do u self sell later breads thanks
