- How a Black Hole Consumes a Star [4K 60fps Enhanced Animation]
This incredible animation from DESY (Science Communication Lab) shows how a massive black hole eats a star and completely consumes it. As the star approaches the black hole, the enormous tidal forces stretch it more and more until it is finally shredded. Half of the stellar debris is flung back into space, while the remaining part forms a rotating accretion disk from which two strong outflows of matter shoot up and down.
I found this awesome animation from DESY and decided to enhance it to 4K 60fps.

Animation created by DESY/Science Community Lab.
I thought it looked really cool, so I decided to enhance & upscale it from 720p25fps to 4K60fps and made slightly edits.
Black Hole (Real Life) vs Ohio Final Boss
Black hole no concept of difficulty
Very nice
This is awesome🙃! Thank you for giving me such an awesome animation to end my day with🤗🤗
Thanks, I only upscaled the animation tho. Original created by DESY
knowing what everything happening on this video is feels good
what
This needs to reach people
Even better if the creator of the video added some details to help elaborate on the subject besides the video itself!
What are those fountain-like things above and below the black hole?
you mean the accretion disc?
Quasar Jets
Relativistic jets
Imma get the apps and I’m gonna try make my accretion disks really accurate
I’m about to make the sickest black hole edit
How is that gas/dust escaping the black hole?
The gravitational pull it has wasnt enough to bring it to the event horizon, it kinds slingshots it back out.
wow awesome!🥰 (i am back again🤣)
🤣 thanks what happened to your last videos
Subhanallah
Shhh!
This is quite literally a repost of an animation by DESY/Science Communication Lab.
This is quite literally written in the video description with all credits to DESY. It was released under CC, so I decided to enhance it from 720p25fps to 4K 60fps and improve the colors and some slight effects. Where is your problem?
@@SpaceCinemaYT They quite literally did not mention that they have a problem with that.
@@cayden8794 Exactly. Didnt say there was a problem, but it would've been even better if they added (more major) effects to make it look cool. I know that this specific creator even knows how to make camera shake and things like that and it would be cooler to see than this.
@@ravenman1316 That's an interesting thing to say. For one, I didn't object to the idea that this should be shared. Second, they didn't provide anything new besides the animation itself. They didn't describe whats happening with a short caption or anything. The only thing they did (or claimed to do) was add slight effects. These effects are barely noticable, and it would have been cool to see maybe a typewriter effect with some somewhat cinematic text at the bottom describing what's happening, like the detail in sphegettification and maybe some extra simulations from NASA as well. If you liked science, you would understand that.
Also, I have a literal channel dedicated to science. That is extremely stupid to say, but I digress.
@@TheSpacePlaceYT Didnt want to change the original work by DESY with too much effect. My main goal was to enhance it to 4K 60FPS with my new software. If you compare the original version and my version side by side, you will see a massive difference on a 4K screen.
