Can you remember park keepers with the uniform & black peaked cap. As kids we had a park a stones throw. Winter sat with me mates around a stove with parky, you wouldn't have done it know.
These little introductions to people with 20 questions are a brilliant idea, can't wait for this one now seems like a proper bloke who doesn't sit on the fence can't wait to hear his story
Nice to see you back Sam really enjoyed this q and a good questions and honest answers.seems like a interesting guy who has a story to tell.looking great for his age looking forward to the full interview.respect as always hope your recovery is going well.
I loved that. Another amazing video. Really looking forward to Ruthless’s life story. My only visit to Strangeways was pre-riot in the 80’s. He must have worked there then. I remembered the Officers name who took us around but I’m a bit worried about putting it on here, in case I breach PerSec or GDPR etc. Great viewing mate, as always.
Well Mr Ruthless you look 50! Sam and you would terrify me if I was in prison, I can tell that you are both firm but fair and both show humanity, compassion and dignity in situations most would not and most would not understand why or how you can . Wow that is a ridiculous retirement age 🙄 I remember when I was working on an emi long stay ward and we got a new 'manager' not nursing in fact she was a catering manager yet she lectured us on incontinence pad use !! Those at top never listen to the actual workforce 🙄
Brilliant interview totally agree with everything that was said I think that's happening in a lot careers and jobs the wrong people are chosen to jobs and promotions they don't have the experience to do them jobs so love your channel great life issues Sam brilliant content mate brilliant interview Sam as usual mate 👍
And I’m im sure you gave me my enhanced on k wing because a nice quiet lad came in who was a sports physiotherapist never been in trouble in his life and was petrified to leave his cell, I just went in for a chat with him and I think he told you and I’d made him feel a lot better and because of that I got my enhanced 👍
I remember both of you 2008-10 I was a cleaner on k wing i think Mr Redfern was hilarious ha, I think doing a podcast on staff prisoner relationships would be good especially considering I was miss A’s cleaner on the 4’s 😂
Anyone know if Sam ever worked at Holme House please? It’s just my ex boyfriend ( we are both scousers) had a boss contact in a guard when he was given a very rare night away on a training course, it was towards the end of his 3rd 8 year sentence ( hopefully his last). If I told you the rest you wouldn’t believe it but the point is, sam reminds me so much of the Guard who helped Bugsy achieve things within education and training. He allowed me and my two daughters to attend an open day at the prison and treated us like royalty. We had a great day and we ended it with Bugsy’s release date on the back of our Liverpool shirts. Each had either the Day , the Month and the year! If it wasn’t for some nice staff , the day would have been just another visit with the charming (not) run of the mill screws adding to the stress!!
Mack, there’s a warmth and genuine vibe all through the north and the northerners. I’m Irish in London and if it wasn’t for my responsibilities my family. I’d move
I'm sick of hearing how stressful being a screw is, if it's that bad don't do it.! I can think of plenty other stressful jobs and people don't moan about it... I feel more for the inmates on the wings.! Then the key holders.
