Hello friends. Welcome back to my channel. Last weeks I did much short sessions and found nice silver and medieval lead. Hope you like the video. Take care and happy hunting.
Great finds again! My favourites are the spherical buttons and the ring with the blue-ish stone. I like the old thimble a lot too! Thanks for posting again, i always enjoy watching your vids!
2023 has been very good to you so far, Erik! Some excellent coins, buttons, and tokens. I love that German coin from 1777--virtually the same age as the USA, which was "born" in 1776. You always manage to include some beautiful Dutch flora and fauna along the way. Lovely job, Erik!
Heb weer genoten van je video Erik, heerlijke veldjes en akkers met prachtige vondsten. Bij de dda heb je mijn stem op de gouden ring, het blijft een waanzinnige vondst👍
That Zoll pfennig I think is a means of paying to cross a border controller post. Zoll is German word for border control post. Zoll is the German word for land grens controle kantoor. Earlier there was one in Vaals and also at the town of Kerkrade grens overgang to kohlscheid Pannesheide. I have lived at Chevremont for many years. Limburg is beautiful. We enjoy you metal detecting show. Love from Australia. Down under.
@@terrahollandia9204 hi Erik I had a check on that Zoll pfennig on the internet, I found info about that coin. Very interesting. It was not used as a payment means when crossing a border post (Douane grens kantoor) there was some hint towards custom's. Wikipedia gives also a brought explanation. Wishing you lots of good finds. haven't even watched it (uploaded 5 min ago ....FIRST 😅 ) but is this a late medieval lead seal fom the city of Leiden in the thumbnail ? found one two hunts ago and simply had to keep it - best looking old lead seal I have ever .......although it's witten in late gothic minuskel letters and leiden means suffering in german 😂 the odds of you finding another one at the same time.....if it is one ....I'm sure it is 👍😁
well, it's another one (but still Leiden) found mine at a place which had his heydays in the 14th and 15th cent and was demolished in the 1520s ....do you know if a lead seal which only has the coat of arms and (4 times) the name of the city on it might be from the city council ? edit: tricked me good 😁 yes pretty much the same one 20:30 .....I would say early 1400s tho....
