The answer is a resounding NO! Too many people throw the word Kaiju nilly willy at every giant monster they see. You need 2 categories to be classified as true Kaiju.
One, It must be created or modified in Japan
Two, it must be filmed by a Japanese film company in Japan.
Magnets Magnets Magnets... so needed.

About adding a tail - I find what works best for me is good old HOT water. My tap is set fairly hot (not super hot) so I just run the tail knob under the tap on hot while keeping the body at room temp, then just pop tail the tail right in. For me it works much better than a hair dryer. I think the wetness helps with the install. I've used this method with a Giant size Godzilla and the recent Kraken from Star Ace, both times in less than a minute.

Atlantis Models is reproducing a lighthouse model kit originally (?) produced by Lindberg models decades ago.
Not sure what scale it’s in but I’ve considered trying to mash up the unassembled Rhedosaurus along with a lighthouse. If the scales are compatible, super. Otherwise, I will make my own crumbled lighthouse cuz that’s just too cool a modeling opportunity to let slide.
And…Rhedosaurus is the Kaiju Daddy-capital
If it isn't made in Japan by a Japanese studio it is not Kaiju.
