Lucía Ayala except a chocolate advent calendar has a total value of about £2 (if that). a single scented candle from a high quality brand can be anywhere from £10-70 (depending on the size and which brand - diptyque usually goes for about £40) thus getting an entire 25 gives you an absolutely ridiculous deal.

(that's even after taking into account that theyre smaller than they are in normal retail) for what you're getting, its a ridiculously good product. im not saying its affordable but comparing it to a shitty £1 advent calendar made of cheap cardboard and 50g (at most) of chocolate is pretty ridiculous
You did a nice job on the advent calendars. I am in California and I have never seen an Advent Calendar in our shops. I hope I find one to send to my mom and aunt who lives in a hospital. I think the calendar is a perfect gift for someone who is in an old age home, assisted living place, etc. Thanx for the idea Fleur!

Fabulous video Fleur, I actually stopped half way through to go and buy the L'Occitane one (I finished watching when I got back). Unfortunately by living in the US, we are excluded from a lot of these Calendars. Most stores do not sell Advent calendars in the US. I really want the Jo Malone one but they don't ship to the US 😥. I also went to my local Kiehl's shop and the sales associate didn't even know about the Advent calendars. Nevertheless I really enjoyed this video.
Maybe because the US is quite a Christian country so they don't see the logic in buying an expensive beauty calendar for yourself as a preparation for Christmas which is about Jesus and about us giving gifts to others...?
Yes, it's disappointing that even the brands that have a US presence don't offer these advent calendars, especially when they're the kinds of brands like Jo Malone that don't often (or ever) go on sale.

I've seen a lot of advent calendars here, but most of these are British brands so I doubt you can get them without paying international shipping.
