Freaking awesome film. And it really brings out what alot of kids actually battle with. My son included, he was a beast in the room but lacked the confidence when he got into those big matches. I wished I had recognized it sooner. Great job Flo and great job to Ben and all the coaches. And to Dad for recognizing it early on!!
This story is so FREAKING awesome! I sent the URL to my 18 year old daughter. She knows nothing about wrestling. However, she is a performer in several arts. She also gets very anxious and fearful regarding 'tryouts' and performing. Yet, she does well. I hope she watches. I find the film VERY inspiring, and I think she would as well. Thanks!
Loosing to carr twice during the season..even pinned once and then beating him when it counted in finals next year was a huge accomplishment in 2023 final...2 left ..lets see if he is 4 timer soon
It takes time to make these high quality videos. The film most likely was done before March 2023. People that are inspired by this film most likely will do their own research into what happened w/ Carr during the 2022-23 season. BTW, Carr is another CLASS ACT!
Wrestling is the best sport imo becasue everyone doesn't always get a trophy and as an individual and team sport you always know who is first, second, and so on down the line. If you come in sixth place or dont place in a tournament then you know you have to work harder and you can see that work payoff as you climb the ladder! Just telling everyone they are a winner is one of the reasons our society is in the horrible state it is in now! And i am not saying anyone should be called a loser or anyting but in the real world it's competitive and kids need to know that just participating doesn't guarantee you a great life. I have seen more of my friends who were wrestlers 60 than anyone else
