Alaska's Gold Rush

Continuing to welcome in 2025 with a new theme to PESA Presents - a look into highlighting the various (and wondrous) geology of the United States! Second up is Alaska - known for its mineral resources by its Indigenous natives; what would happen when others discovered the gold within? We examine two 'Gold Rush" periods in its history (as well as a third that, while the gold was not discovered in Alaska, it is often linked as people journeyed thru there) and there often...interesting history.
