This is the full length video from Monterey Auto Week 2013, and below is my 'commentary'...ENJOY!
    Day 1 (Thursday, August 15th, 2013):
My friends and I packed up the noble DLMphotos Audi S4 at 4:30AM and started the drive to Monterey, CA. It's a ritual to take my favorite drive in the world up the coast to Car Week every year. We make nice time all the way up to Big Sur, where we then run into traffic, but LOTS of incredible cars (mostly vintage). We head to the first hotel and stumble upon the only US legalized Aston Martin One-77 and the first Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse made. This was what we needed after an exhausting 6+ hour drive! After that, we stopped by the polo fields and bumped into a Ferrari F50 & Enzo combo. We saw that downtown Carmel was poppin' as we briskly made our way to the Quail Lodge to find the staggering 918 Spyder, but then we saw what we came for: the Lamborghini Veneno, a surreal looking car. Night time starts to fall, and that means more combos as well as night shots! We chase the One-77, hit up Chipotle, then return to capture the madness. What was most surprising, however, was spotting the white/blue "Le Ciel California" Bugatti Vitesse cruising around Pebble Beach late at night. We check out another stunning Ferrari 599 GTO and head to the hotel. A very successful day 1 in Monterey.
    Day 2 (Friday, August 16th, 2013):
Car Week is in full swing. Friday is the day of the famous Quail Lodge show, where the valet lot is just as good as the show. We arrive at the Quail and immediately see a Corvette parade (featuring Jay Leno) as well as 3 Vitesses lined up in a row. Inside of the show is incredible with its diversity of cars and more notably the FOOD! Ranging from an all you can eat oyster and caviar bar to gourmet Chinese, Italian, American--you name it--food buffets; that alone is worth the ticket price. Then, I take some video inside of the show, highlighting the Ferrari club as well as the BMW M4 concept and Veneno/50th Anniversary Aventador Roadster combo. As we're leaving the show, we hear a loud noise behind us and BOOM! Maserati MC12...that's Car Week for you. After a slew of more incredible cars, we visit the Gooding Auctions, which had a great turnout. We went to Downtown Monterey/Cannery Row to be greeted by yet more Gallardos and MP4-12Cs, and then run into an Enzo and 599 GTO going through the Monterey tunnel. Our second day of car heaven ends at the Inn at Spanish Bay, where we take some night shots of the awesome lineup. A very successful day 2 in Monterey.
    Day 3 (Saturday, August 17th, 2013):
We're quite tired as day 3 comes, but we're quickly awoken by a Ferrari F40, 599 GTO, straight piped Carrera GT, and the Veyron Vitesse. More cruising around and we find possibly the best garage at the event. The whole collection was simply amazing. Thank you to the kind owners at Beverly Hills Motoring for letting us check the cars out! We move through Pebble, seeing more cool stuff as well as DoctaM3's trio before running into a friend and her black Enzo. She stops and asks us for directions because her phone ran out of battery, so we led her to the Pagani event house. At the Inn, we're greeted by a blue carbon/silver Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. He played games with us, making passes on the 2 lane 17 Mile Drive en route to the Pagani house. We catch the naked carbon Huayra taking customers for rides, and then we have a quick little "shoot" with the Huayra and the Enzo. After that, we migrated to downtown Monterey. Upon arrival, we see a 1 of 3 Ferrari 430 Scuderia TriColori, a Hennessey twin turbo 458, and 2 Aventadors (the matte black one is sporting a DMC kit, the matte purple a Liberty Walk kit and iPE Innotech exhaust). The matte purple Aventador shoots some flames as it drives away, then a classic orange Lamborghini Miura with the first six letter plate ever made in California (000 AAA) pulls out as well. We catch the SS again with a Verde Ithaca LP570-4, then drive through the Monterey Hilton Garden Inn for a quick tour of the parking garage's insane lineup. By now, it's 3AM and all we want to do is sleep. We find a 599 GTO on a quiet side street and "sleep photograph" it. Finally, bed time... A very, very successful day 3 in Monterey.
    Day 4 (Sunday, August 18th, 2013):
Sunday was an extremely lazy day. We slept in, rolled out of bed, got a fast food breakfast, then cruised over to Concours d'Elegance. We caught the Hermes Grand Sport in action as well as some other cars and had an enjoyable Concours. We went back to the car, snacked on some Kix cereal while thinking about the past 4 days. It was time to head home, back to the land where Ferraris don't line the streets. What an incredible, action packed week. And right there on Sunday, August 18th, 2013, in a foggy, quiet Carmel neighborhood, the countdown to Car Week 2014 begun.
    THANK YOU for watching!
