When you start fighting bosses with Ryu and this plays instead of Bastard Sword, you know shit is about to get real, because that's when there's a sudden difficulty spike in the bosses, starting with Won-qu...
Won-qu difficulty spike was so sudden i thought it was an impossible battle. But in fact it was were the men were separated from the boys.
To signal Ryu is becoming like The Emperor?
The two dice at the tom were pain in the ass for sure. Damn that i go for attack buff and ready for deathblow and theyre dispelling the buff

Yes Lord Fred, this game has great music. IMO the best game of the series just by letting you play as the antagonist for short periods of time.
Do you know some other soundstracks similiar to this one? I really like the mix of hindu chant, orchestra and other elements.
Fou Lu is such a cool Character men. I love him so much
Fou-Lu is my fave character in Breath of Fire 4 (cause of his Tyrant Dragon form with 9999 HP )

But I confess Fou-Lu is a badass character, if you transform into the dragon, you will feel his anger to destroy everything 🐉

Fou-Lou is one of the best characters in Breath of Fire. If not “the” best.
There are many good characters in the BoF series. BoF III, however, was particularly special for me because of the unique style.

Nope. While the BOF are somewhat linked, each acts as its own standalone game. I personally liked 3 a bit more than 4, myself, but both were great games.

The fake mountain god is almost impossible (it may well be impossible in fact) without the dragon form tho...
@@hitkid2456 Most Fou-Lu boss fights are meant to be "dragon form smash", especially with the amount of fire-based enemies preying on his fire weakness.
The song your enemies hear when they fight YOU.
Why couldn't they make more good traditional jrpg like this one. Look at capcom these days...

Imagine having Fou-Lu's part being cut to be just cutscenes. No mini games, and the game is skipped to only when you starts chasing Fou-Lu, lol.

The music and storylines of BoF upsets me cause they are actually good (not dragon quartet) and the music is very engaging and catchy (not dragon quartet) and god no one is gonna see this but fuck it lol. Remake

The final battle should have been against the fou-lu you used during the game. One should be able to upgrade him in many ways and in the final battle be forced to choose between the two in a non-linear way (you go with Ryu and gay the ending or go with fou-lu...and lose the game). I mean a Fou-lu who could stay human as long as he was programmed to and could transform in any of the other forms with a strategic porpuse. The final bosses were such wimps it ruined the game for me. Fou-lu should be feared and respected, he should have been extremely strong and deserved a better ending. IMHO of course!
Honestly the final boss was the easiest boss fight to me, so was the final boss (I mean the semi-dragon, not Chetyre himself) in bof5 if you had enough % of your D-Counter to spam D-Charge and Twister.. Then again you could do that with any boss in the game if you knew how to save up your % (It's what speedrunners make use of). I always seemed to like the other boss battles before the final bosses in breath of fire games more than the actual end bosses, I don't have a proper explanation to why it is like that.

Miss Elly He had a point, humans are selfish and destructive. He experienced cruelty and tasted the evil side of humanity. He actually had a valid point there. Thing is he knew he was going to purge the world from evil taking innocents as well. He slayed that boar out of mercy, and resented the sacrifice of the woman that saved him. He lost hope on humanity, and that's where his judgment failed him, but other than that he was so right
Manuel Alvarado True. But after he lost, he also acknowledge that humans are also 'magnificent' or so he says. I think Fou-Lu also had feelings for Mami as well which is why he went crazy and trashed the city he himself built when he realized she was used as the sacrifice for the hex that the empire tried to destroy him with.
How about Fou-Lu (human form, who can also meditate, like Ryu) along side Won-Qu and A-Tur?
This theme was one of the reasons I tolerated Fou-lu's chapters, because really, I hated everytime the story made me play as him, I got bored for completely.
