First. Can someone give me an answer to why the flapjack Nebulax ordered these animals to kill Astro? Really, all Nebulax did was steal the Mothership's processor for NO REASON and ordered several animal-based bosses to keep him from getting the other parts. None of the bosses even get anything in return. ONE OF THEM ATE A PERSON!! Why did Nebulax even want the processor? How did he know about the processor? Why didn't he send the bosses to the planets where the parts actually were firsthand? I NEED THE LORE HERE!!
Good Q. Nebulax likely stole the Mothership's processor because it holds great power or significance, but the game may not fully explain his motivations right away. The animal bosses are there as challenges for the player, and their loyalty to Nebulax might be due to manipulation or fear. Nebulax’s actions, like not sending the bosses to the right planets, could be part of the game's design to create more levels and obstacles. His true motives may be revealed later in the story, possibly involving a larger, hidden plan. Just a game story!
Well, to be fair, most games don't really have much 'sense' to begin with-that's part of the fun! They're meant to be entertaining and creative, not always logical. It's all about enjoying the experience!
I don't know if it's answer your question but lore wise, Nicolas Doucet himself confirmed in an interview that every bosses are brothers and sisters, I think that includes the Alien
